This restaurant feels like home. The staff is absolutely fantastic, patient and kind. I had my three little ones with me and it was such a pleasant experience. Not only that but the food is top tier. I used to eat here all the time as a teen and it tastes just as I remember it. I will be coming back again soon ! Their fren ch onion soup is the absolute best as well as their portobello mushroom and the presentation was just perfect.

Excellent experience from start to finish! I came here on a recommendation from a friend who lives in the area. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were going to enjoy it here. The atmosphere is great, the service was wonderful, and the food is the star of the show! Everything we got we absolutely loved! We felt comfortable, we didn’t feel rushed, and we definitely plan on coming back to try more of their fantastic options on their menu. Parking was very easy, they have a little lot, but there is also plenty of free on street parking as well. Highly highly recommend stopping in and giving this place a chance!

The Quiet man has an old school vibe and the service was good. We got a burger which was great and a the fish and chips which for my taste were a little overdone done. All and all a good restaurant.

I love this place and am so glad my wife and I found it this past Saturday afternoon! TQM gets all the little things right, from its movie-themed decor, cozy booths, dim but not too dark lighting, swift and friendly service, and hot, fresh food with ample portions. Even when a live performer began playing his acoustic set directly behind us, it was at a manageable volume for us to continue conversing. This is the best Irish restaurant I’ve visited in ages…bravo!

My family has been enjoying Quiet man for decades but not sure we will return after tonight. I entered and was greeted very kindly by the hostess- I told her that we were looking for a table for 2 and my husband was finding parking. The parking is very difficult in that area. She sat me at a booth right away and after less than 10 minutes of waiting for my husband ( I know the exact time because of texts), another hostess or waitress came over to ask me if I was waiting for someone. I said yes and then she left. A couple minutes after that, so 10 minutes total since I had been sat at the booth and given menus and bread, the second waitress came over and abruptly told me I needed to leave because it had been too long and there were other tables waiting. I said, it’s only been 10 minutes and my husband is having a hard time finding parking. I asked her to let me at least call him and see what the status was. She said yes and I called him but he was still waiting for someone to pull out so he could get a spot. Since I felt completely unwelcome and did not want to tell the waitress that he was still waiting to then be met with her telling me to leave, I got up and left. The plain rude behavior was completely uncalled for. Extremely disappointed

Drinks, dinner and decor!
The atmosphere is always wonderful and the liveliness is invigorating. As for food and drinks, always a hit.
The specials as well as the staples are great. On the New Year’s Eve, we decided on a Christmas martini, bourbon ale and French onion soup to start. The soup!!! Wow, perfect crunch to the cheese, onions were fresh and bread on point.
Dinner, blackened chicken chop chop salad
Chicken Murphy

Exactly what I needed. I was in town for a family emergency and just needed a quiet, comfortable place to grab a burger and a beer. This place was perfect. Clearly a neighborhood place, but we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a fantastic meal. Burger for me, Shepherd’s pie for the hubbs.

Came here on a Sunday night and we were able to get booth seats without a problem.

It’s a very charming intimate pub. We loved the live music. We felt transported back in time. The service team was friendly and attentive.

I liked how they give out complimentary warm Irish bread with butter. Highly recommend getting their chicken pot pie. It was delicious and comforting on a cold winters day.

We’ve eaten here on several occasions. The food is consistently good. This place is very popular Friday and Saturday nights. You’ll wait to get a table and it will be wall to wall inside. If that is not your dining experience Sunday afternoon or other weeknights are less frenetic. We have found everyone here to be friendly.

Update: On this date we had a quiet meal in this cozy bar/restaurant and enjoyed every minute of our visit. Service was great, food was well prepared. We’re going again soon.

First time here. Absolutely loved it. Great feel, great charm friendly staff. Dave was our bartender…great guy…good talker and a better listener. Enough chit chat without being intrusive. Definitely stop by when Dave is tending. The food was excellent we had bacon cheese burgers that were cooked to a perfect mid rare. Bacon crispy, cheese wonderfully melty and the side of steak fries were phenomenal. The Guinness pints were pulled to perfection and Dave was on top of our progress always asking if we wanted another at the perfect time. Definitely a local place but felt right at home among the regulars. I would highly recommend the Quiet Man. Stop by soon, I know I’ll be back.
