While visiting Richmond a few weeks ago my friend and I decided to grab some takeout. I wanted hibachi but didn’t want to dine-in. We chose this location and the food was so delicious. I ordered the chicken and veggies hibachi and he got the chicken hibachi and added salmon. The veggies were different that what I was used to, they had steamed cabbage and carrots, which was a twist and added a different flavor that was so delicious . I also had the spring rolls they were delicious too. Service was quick and food was ready when he arrived. I would definitely be trying them again.

I’m from the DC region (I believe this is where quickway/quickfire was founded) and I’ve lived in central VA for 5 years now.
This location has to be the worst quickway I’ve EVER been to. Food taste was off, service attitude was poor.
They don’t even have the spring onions that quickway is known for. Crazy right?
The locations in Fredericksburg VA, Baltimore MD, Rockville MD, Frederick MD, and Laurel MD are always amazing, high quality experiences with great food and service. I highly recommend these locations.
I am going to try the one in Glen allen and see if is any better. I will not return to this location again.

My food was excellent salmon was hot with crispy skin. Rice was cooked perfectly and my veggies were fresh and lightly steamed just like i like it. The floor was slippery but that’s how you know the food gonna be good. Quiet place to enjoy luch inside or takeout.

They food is fine but do be careful when paying cash. I paid a small side order and a soda in cash and asked for my change back. The gentleman told me that I didn’t receive change back when the payment screen said different. I told him that I paid over to receive change and he continued to argue me down until he reached into his tip jar and shoved my change in my face. Instead of blowing up and snapping, I told him to keep it. He must need it more than I if he needed to take .91 cents from a side order and soda order. He was completely unprofessional and rude.

The guys that work here are friendly, they don’t talk much but always smile and thank you for your business. I have picked up numerous door dash orders here without incident and I have also eaten here many times. I have never been disappointed, the food is always good and the yum yum sauce is A1.

The food was pretty mediocre especially compared to the, Virginia Center Pkwy, location. My fiancé and I found the food runny, overcooked, and with a burnt taste. They also gave her way less than they gave me. Poor quality and we won’t be coming back to this location. The Virginia Center Pkwy is the ultimate go-to in the Richmond area!

After reading the reviews, it looks like this place is hit-or-miss. We must have tried it out on a good day because I was very pleased. I ordered the steak & my husband ordered chicken, both with rice and vegetables. He got an order of spring rolls while I added an order of the chicken dumplings. The food came reasonably fast and the containers were stuffed. While the yum yum sauce was on the thin side, the flavor was good. I loved the dumplings while the husband said the spring rolls were only okay & he won’t be getting them again. The dining area is very small but was clean. All things considered, we’ll be going back.

For the folks who were thinking about coming back a year after the grand opening to see if it got any better – don’t.
Noodles are still watery, chicken is still overcooked and stringy, veggies are still mysteriously missing onion and mostly cabbage.
Really wish I had read the reviews before giving it a try, but I do have two new problems to report:
1) don’t bother calling an order in ahead, they took our order over the phone and didn’t make it, just took our order again when we got there
2) don’t bother getting any premium options, we got 1 shrimp hibachi and 1 chicken hibachi, got home to find two chicken hibachi. After taking our order twice lol
Last thing I wouldn’t mention on it’s own, but the bottom of the bag contained so much hibachi sauce it felt intentional. Not like, oh a little spilled out, or the box has a crack in it – I think they just got sauce in the bag and chose not to grab a dry bag.

The food was great. When I’m in the area I love going here. I like the bento box just because you get a little of everything. If you like good hibachi and sushi I recommend going here. It’s good and quick!
