If I could give no stars, I would. For starters, the food I ordered(teriyaki chicken) was completely raw. I called the restaurant multiple times just to get hung up on. When someone finally answered they had told me there was no manager there and to call the next day. When I called the next day I would continue to get hung up on. When I finally got in contact with the “assistant manager” he told me to call my bank to handle the issue and that he could not do anything about the issue due to the policy being 1-2 days after the incident. After he said this he hung up on me. This is horrible customer service as it was not my fault a manager was not on duty for almost a week, and everyone would continue to hang up the phone on me. So long story short, I spent $15 for one tray to not be able to eat it and for no one to care they served me and my child raw chicken. Not sure why this dude is “assistant manager” when he can’t solve a problem and blatantly does not care about the customer service he’s giving out.

Our family LOVES the Quickway in Fair Oaks Mall so we had to give this place a chance. I wish we would have read the reviews. We ordered 4 orders of tofu. One order had a hair in it. The hair was at the bottom and was mixed in with the rice and veggies. Everyone was grossed out so no one wanted to finish their food. I called and spoke with the manager who was rude and told us to bring the food back in. My husband took the food in and the manager was rude to him as well. We were never given an apology and any real customer service. My husband had to push for a full refund because food was eaten out of each container. Yes, we all started eating out the containers, but no one wanted to finish eating after finding the hair. For all we know the hair could have been cooked with all the rice or all the vegetables. It’s just nasty. An apology and accepting fault would go along way. The manager acted as if we were the problem. How dare we not want to eat the food with hair in it.

I ordered the Chicken & Beef. The food was okay. The rice, in spots, tasted crunchy, dry and old. The rice was sub-par, which if you know anything about japanese culture, should be the one thing that a place prides themselves on… However, with this being a chain restaurant, I can’t necessarily say that I’m surprised.. The steak was nice and flavorful, with a slightly lengthy chew to it – it was trimmed nicely and was a thin cut. The chicken was decent and the Yummy Sauce added to the meals flavors. I recommend this for a quick asian-style bite to eat, but not some place you would want to take a date, for a first-meal! Get this if you’re pressed for time or money, and just need something to fill you up on a boring day where you don’t expect much..

My son and I discovered this place while out running errands over the weekend. Since we’re both fans of hibachi style meals, Quickway sounded like a great meal choice for dinner. The inside was spacious with only a couple of tables filled (probably my first flag). Ordering is styled after several other quick food specialty joints, like Five Guys, Chipotle, etc. The menu is fairly simple and looked delicious.

I ordered food from this place today through Uber Eats and it tasted like trash. I spent $22 and some cents hoping the food will taste good.I wish there was a way to get my money back seriously. I am really disappointed.

This location has terrible hygiene its nasty and ridiculous there was hair and a small bug! I know what spices look like, so at first I thought it was just a spice, but further inspection there was legs along with it. Not only do I find someone’s pieces of hair in my food, but a bug as well never again will I eat here. Absolutely nasty

This quickway location should be renamed Charcoal Beef. I got beef & shrimp combo. The beef was black & both the beef and shrimp looked like it was cooked at 11am or whatever time they opened and left sitting out all day. The vegetables were wilted. How? How are you selling old veggies? I’m getting my money back & I’ll find food somewhere else. I’ve never had food look this bad at any location, at either quickway or sarku. NEVER. quick tip: cook the food as you get the orders. Stop selling old stuff. Tell the underpaid teenagers that work there to stop being lazy. UPDATE: when I returned the food the cashier was trying to give me the correct amount back but the evil manger that was breathing down his neck shorted me on the tax I should’ve received back. So he’s a terrible restaurant manager AND a swindler. Got it.

This was the first time I ordered food, paid for it, caught a glimpse of the kitchen as they assembled my order, and I proceeded to walk out and throw the food away.
