I love, love, love this place!! I am so happy that I had a particular taste for Japanese food and this place is what was in my area. I just moved to the Adelphi area and I am so happy this little gem is 5 minutes from my house, also a little scared because of the weight I’m going to gain!! Ha!
Quickway is dine in or take out, you order at the register and watch them work their magic on your order in front of your eyes, Hibachi style. Though it doesn’t come with the traditional show and personal cook, the line cooks are friendly and do smile while doing their job. When the food is topped with your choice of protein (chicken,beef, shrimp or salmon), they ask of you want extra sauce… take the extra sauce! Trust me!!
The food is delicious! In a typical combo it comes with rice (fried or white), protein and your choice to have veggies. The veggies are a perfect compliment to the meal.
They have bottled or fountain drinks, more than enough food for what you pay for. Quick and efficient! It’s a steal!
The restaurant is always clean and staff are always welcoming.

This Is Upsetting my 2nd time trying to get food from here the doors were wide open & they said it was close & even said they have no food for me but then offer me a plate thats been sitting i dont know how long I dont think its right. Definitely need better customer service. Or better closing routine so no customers come in & get the same impression like I just did.

Consistently the Absolute Worst service from any takeout I’ve ever experienced. Every time I walk in, I go to the pickup area, smiling waiting to be greeted and handed my online order. Every time, the manager and employees will look me in the face and walk off without word or even acknowledging my presence. I’ve asked for a bit of respect before, but I see these people are classless or ignorant.

Food does not look like the pictures. This place is like the Chipotle of Hibachi, very casual. The lo mein noodles were the worst I’ve ever had anywhere. It’s food if you’re hungry though. $10 a plate is what people are calling cheap in 2025.

The employees are very friendly and the service is very fast. However, I did not like the food at all. Tasted like a super cheap version of Sarku Japan, which isn’t exactly fancy cuisine either . The cabbage was semi amorphous and mushy. The noodles were dry and not all that tasty. The meat was just ok. The booths in the dining area are uncomfortable since they are wood with no cushioning. The hallway to the restroom had so much stuff stacked up that I decided to wait to go elsewhere. Aside from the nice employees, this was not a good experience. I seriously doubt I’ll be back. I feel bad for the employees because they’re the only good thing about this place, but I can find better quality food for about the same price pretty much anywhere else.
