I haven’t been there in a while and decided to take a lunch to go. When I arrived, I saw a sign at the door saying it opens at 11, and it was still only 10. They told me I can place my order. Everyone was so nice and polite. I was their first employee, and their smile really made my day. Plus the food was hot, fresh, a large portion and very affordable. I will definitely go more often.

the workers were really nice but the food was very very bad. my first tipoff should’ve been that it was EMPTY. but i figured it was a weird time, it woukd be fine. it was NOT fine. everything was grossly underseasoned and the carrots in my dish were dry and some were black. the fried rice was so bland and dry, the peas were almost gray.
the hibachi express in kensington is really good, make the trip and go there instead.
whoever owns it needs to check the quality and help it out. the soda machine had a whole science experiment in the drain tray. im so sorry to even leave a bad review but please do not eat here.

I go to this location quite often for my lunch headed back into the office. They have a sign on the window like any other quick way that after 5 meals purchases the next one is free. When asked for a card to stamp they claim to not have any cards. I was denied my 6 meals free being told that I have to purchase 5 together which is false. This is also false advertising. I usually don’t post but I had to this time. False advertising.

On a sunny Friday in July, we got carryout from Quickway Japanese Hibachi in Travilah Square shopping center. We ordered Chicken Hibachi with White Rice and Veggies, Beef & Tofu with Noodles and Veggies, and Green Dragon Roll, a Shrimp Tempura Roll topped with avocado and eel sauce. I liked how the food wasn’t as greasy as Sarku Japan.

I️ was craving hibachi during work one day and didn’t want to pay hibachi price for my meal so I️ decided to try this place out. It was delicious but necessarily quick. I️ like the open kitchen design that allows you see everything that’s going on. I love hibachi, I️ was not disappointed and I️ would definitely go back again.

This place is a pretty good japanese hibachi place. I don’t like the chicken teriyaki nearly as much as Sarku, but it’s still pretty decent. The bento box is a good deal as well. I also recently tried the fried rice and its much better than the white rice here in my opinion. The sushi is pretty decent as well, the salmon lovers roll I had was fresh and the rice was cooked well. I only took a star off because I don’t like their teriyaki sauce very much compared to other places that have a better flavor and the price is a bit higher than other hibachi places.

Very fresh, Very Clean facility. WAAYYYY better than Gaithersburg & Germantown….noodles are lighter & WaY better in Rockville too, final product ALWAYS picture perfect here and customer service is AWESOME in Rockville too 🙂
