We tried the chipotle chicken bowl and the Greek chicken bowl. Both were good, but the chipotle chicken was the standout, it was a little spicy with great flavor. The Greek bowl was solid but a bit more mild and not quite as flavorful. We also tried the cheese balls and a gluten-free brownie. The cheese balls were nothing special, but the brownie was excellent. It’s hard to find good gluten-free desserts, and this one was amazing!
Overall, it’s a convenient, quick, and healthy option. The quality and flavor aren’t mind-blowing, but you can’t have it all. I agree with other reviews that the protein portion is a little light, but you can add extra for just a few dollars. For the price, I think it’s a fair amount of protein. One improvement they could make is the rice- it was lackluster and reminded me of a packaged rice-a-roni or something. I would take regular white rice over it honestly.
We don’t live nearby so it won’t be a regular stop, but if I’m in the area and need a quick bite, I’d definitely come back.
I ordered the Caesar chicken wrap, BBQ bowl, strawberry hazelnut cup, and cheese bread.
The biggest letdown was the Caesar chicken wrap. It was wrapped very loosely and immediately fell apart. Photos attached. The dressing comes on the side, which is frustrating because you have to pour and mix it yourself. Since it’s not mixed in before wrapping, about half the wrap ends up dry and not evenly coated, which isn’t standard for a Caesar wrap. There also wasn’t enough dressing for the full portion. I had to rewrap it myself because it was turning into a salad. Typically, wraps like this are tightly rolled, wrapped securely in paper, cut after wrapping, and secured with a wooden pin so they stay together. This felt rushed and poorly executed. I can’t imagine trying to eat this on the go. Luckily, I brought it home.
The BBQ bowl was okay flavor-wise but nothing special. The cheese bread was dry, which was disappointing.
The strawberry hazelnut cup was actually really good, and I would come back just for that. However, it didn’t look like the photo and again the hazelnut spread comes separate with not quite enough for the portion. Photos attached. If they adjusted the ratio, it would be a standout item.
For the price and size, I found this to be quite expensive. If the portions were actually what they showed online, it would probably be reasonable (assuming it wasn’t almost all grains like it was during this visit). They wouldn’t take my cash, nor could they print me a receipt. Drive thru was quick.
3 stars because its opening and they’re of course working out some kinks. Hoping it gets better so maybe I will try again in a couple months after they get a better flow and try something different.
Overall, my food has been dry with the lack of dressing and/or sauce. They forget something every single time whether it’s dressing, ice in my drink, or a fork. And the portions of chicken and rice are poor.
See below for how much dressing I was given for my wrap (it’s only up the side bc it tipped in my car).
The food is great, I’ve gotten the chipotle chicken bowl and my wife has gotten the burrito both times. It is very good, hearty, and plenty of food. I couldn’t be happier to have quick greens as a fast food option. Better quality and better pricing than a full meal from McDonald’s AND won’t make your body feel like shit afterwards.
Please support this local fast food joint so they can justify maintaining affordable pricing for genuinely good and healthy food
