One of the absolute best meals I’ve had in LA (coming from a foodie). I don’t usually leave reviews but this restaurant was so incredible that I had to. You could tell that everything was handmade with love, and the moles were exploding with traditional Oaxacan flavor – truly indescribable. Everything we ordered was 10/10. Will be coming back a million times.

This place is amazing. Beautiful inside and out with friendly staff and delicious food. Went here with my husband for our one year anniversary. I had the fajitas with mushroom sauce and my husband had the verde enchiladas. It was the best meal i’ve had all year! The beans were good. The meat was cooked perfectly. The flavor of the meal with all the vegetables was so enjoyable. I highly recommend coming here for comida Oaxaqueña!!! Our compliments to the Chef and the entire staff 🙂

A beautiful, traditional Oaxacan restaurant, where you feel a family atmosphere and the food is delicious. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the black mole is truly spectacular.

1st visit and we will return. The food was delicious and took tamales to go, they were very good. Live music was unexpected and a real treat.

We had dinner here with a small group of friends last weekend and had a really good dining experience at this Oaxaca restaurant. I tried the Chicken Enchiladas with Mole and was not disappointed. The cocktails were tasty and the service extremely friendly and prompt. We will be back!

Love this spot! They recently updated their decor and have a super cute patio and comfy seating. It was my second time eating here and I was not disappointed. Our meal was delicious, the sauces were my favorite part. We did an appetizer, along with our two meals, and two horchatas; leaving us quite full at the end. Our server was very friendly and we enjoyed our time there. It was also a beautiful day out and sitting in the patio made it even better. This was our second time going here and we were very pleased!

By far out of two other restaurants that I have tried tlayuda, this spot is 1! Vegetarian tlayuda, the mushrooms, the beans and Oaxaca Cheese.. are super yummy .. flavorful and presented nicely. The vegetarian mole was best had between the other spots we have tried, as well! Drink, food, service, and ambience was all around a nice experience. Thanks!

Very good vegan mole! They use almonds, not peanuts. So tasty and you can taste the care and quality. The guacamole and black beans with fresh chips and salsa were so delicious too. The regular chicken mole was very good too. And you can but the mole in a jar too. Really authentic. Really good. Worth it.

Omg, “stumbled” onto this jewel. The Oaxacan style cuisine was beyond delicious.
The place was pretty full with what seemed regulars from the area.
Ernesto and staff were super friendly, personal and accommodating.
The homemade corn tortillas were out of this wirld.
Get the appetizer sampler you won’t regret it. And if you’re adventurous, try the goat stew also served in tacos.
We were so stuffed Dessert was out of the question.
Winner!

The service was incredibly friendly and I really wanted to like this place because they are very nice! The atmosphere is pleasant, though the door was open and we were very cold during our meal. Things started out good with the chips and salsa. Unfortunately, the food after that was underwhelming. We were more than a bit disappointed with our dishes…possibly we ordered the wrong thing? Horchata tasted watered down to me. Would maybe give it another try because of how many excellent reviews there are but it was a bit of a let down.
