People were friendly and nice salads were bomb but something was wrong with the Asada meat tasted like something was off other than that I liked the place.

3rd time visiting, & I can’t get bored with the selection. Food is great & the people are friendly & helpful. Surprised there aren’t more people coming here; it is a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it for me.

Second time visiting. People are always very friendly and helpful. We had a carnitas burrito and adobada burrito. Good size with good proportion of ingredients. Good value. Very flavorful. Burrito is lightly grilled once made, soooo good!

Efrén and his family really take care of you and make service their top priority not to mention The food is always amazing! I mean handmade tortillas for every order, come on now! Do yourself a favor and go see them you won’t regret it!

I went with a friend like a month ago and I was having a yeti cup with coffee because we were shopping at failing stores, and the guy told me we don’t accept drinks or food from another restaurant, and I was like . Even McDonalds accepts food, because you are going to spend money over there . Never coming again I switched quetzal for Pupuseria la chicana because they are better.

I love this place! One of the few Mexican restaurants that have that authentic Mexican taste. I had tacos and my wife had a Chile Relleno and let me tell you that the taste transported my home town in Jalisco. You just can’t go wrong with the hand made tortillas.

The food was bland. A little salt would have gone a long way. The potatoes were a bit overcooked and the sauce that they had on it was not helpful. It just made the burrito soggy. Beans and rice were also bland. The salsa was good.

One of my two favorite taquerias. I have been looking all over the Bay Area and have not found one like it. Homemade tortillas ever day. Its especially good with their carnitas plate. Its a hunk of meat with tortillas, rice and beans. As other reviewers have stated, their gorditas are wonderful too. The only thing that could use improvement is their chips. I no longer live in the area, but I wanted to write this review to thank them for several years of really great food. Go there and enjoy (and get the corn tortillas).

Not sure what happen to the food but it wasn’t as good as before. I ordered Tostilocos; the chips were old/hard, corn in a cup was not good plus too small for the price and the Gorditas masa was hard like if it was old. Not worth the high price.
