We were looking for a new place to try and I’m so glad we picked this restaurant! From the moment we entered the building, Leo the owner was incredibly kind and inviting! The food was absolutely delicious! They had a Saturday birria special so we ordered that and an order of tamales. The portions were big as well. As we were getting ready to leave my husband wanted dessert and I tried to talk him out if because we were so full. Of course he ended up getting a piece of the chocoflan to go. Now my only regret is not getting one for myself because it was so tasty! Definitely recommend eating here!

I ordered tacos and a rice bowl. Rice bowl was ok, chips that came with it looked like the oil hadn’t been changed in a very long time. Tacos were shoved into a small container, barely fit and looked greasy. We asked for 2 soft shells and 1 hard, got all soft and they were not edible. Overall, no real taste to any of the food which was disappointing considering we spent almost $40K for just those two items.

Stopped there yesterday afternoon for lunch with my parents, and it was well worth it. Leo is incredibly personable and great at making you feel right at home, and the food was amazing. We all got quesadillas (I had El Abañil, which is steak and mushrooms with chipotle sauce that has a good kick to it, and a jalapeño and cheese tamale), and I can’t recommend them enough, as well as the tamales, rice, beans, and chips you get as your appetizer. You get a great amount of food for the price, and it arrived very quickly. The drinks were delicious, too (try the tamarind or hibiscus drinks, you can’t go wrong with either one), and the atmosphere was cozy and colorful. Definitely stop in when you have the chance.

I stopped in tonight to eat and kill some time after dropping my son off at boxing. Im glad I did, the polo rice bowl was delicious and the tres leche….. amazing! To top it off, Leo was awesome. He was a lot of fun to talk to. Great place, great food, great dude. Highly recommend, I’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I were visiting my son approximately 2 weeks ago. We went to the Alpaca farm and after decided to go to lunch. We happened upon this little Mexican restaurant. The moment we stepped in the door, Leo was at the counter to welcome us. Leo is also the owner and he was a delight. He explained all of the deferent Tod and drinks to us. I even got to try 2 different drinks, I didn’t like the but my husband and son liked them and ordered one each. We all 3 got different quesadillas and my son also got a tamale. The food was fantastic and the portions were huge. When we come to visit our son next we’ll make a point to go back.

This place is everything you think of when you hear “hole in the wall”. Today was my first time inside Quesadilla Dona Meche. I will be back. They give you fresh chips to start with salsa. I got the Birria Tacos which are only available on Friday and Saturday. They were delicious! My husband got the poblano quesadilla with a side of avacado. They didn’t charge us extra for the avacado unlike most places but let me tell you this quesadilla was the star. I will be getting this next time. We also got the chocolate cake. It was more on the dense side instead of fluffy but it was still delicious. I would def recommend this place!

Amazing food !! If you’re looking for a authentic Mexican food this is the place for you , today was our first time and sure won’t be the last be back for more!! Best service , everyone was so polite & friendly simply the best around!! Quality food & dessert ever !! I forgot to the pictures of our chocoflan until halfway done a most try !

I only have good words for this restaurant. We tried this restaurant last night and our experience just confirmed all the positive reviews. The restaurant is very cozy and has a friendly atmosphere. Service was phenomenal. We met Giovanni who is the owner’s son, who gave great customer service and even gave us a treat. Food are reasonably priced and portions are great. Taco Al Pastor, Dona Meche Quesadilla & the Enchilada Chicken Verde were all amazingly delicious. We will definitely go back and we highly recommend you come and grab food from this restaurant.
