Food was very plain no flavor at all. I had big hopes for this place since it’s the only soul food joint open at this time but I was very disappointed. I order chicken wings, dressing and yams. The chicken was ok but seemed like more fat than meat somehow, and the dressing looked scary with no flavor. The yams was… sweet.. probably wouldn’t eat here again unless I had to. Also hard to tell they even served food from the outside and the inside was like a dingy half filled candy store. I want to support Black owned business but I don’t think that means accepting a lower quality. Guess I’ll be back on the road to DaDas in Zion for my soul food.
