Our experience at Queenie’s was so phenomenal I’m not even sure where to start. The hostess was friendly and accommodating and started our evening off with nothing but positives. Our server, Sophia, was absolutely precious. She was the perfect combination of personality and attentiveness. The ambiance was warm and inviting and cozy. We started our meal off with drinks and an appetizer. I had the blackberry mule (so good!) and my husband had a seasonal dark beer (he’s a Guinness fan and enjoyed this take on hot chocolate). We both had the fried chicken dinner (extremely generous portions and the gravy was surprisingly light). My sides were the sweet potatoes and mushrooms and he had the cheese and mac and green beans–all were really good and worth ordering again. My favorite part of any meal is dessert, so we ended the night with crème brûlée and chocolate mousse pie. We nearly licked the plates! Thank you, Queenie’s, for making my 47th birthday so special. We will definitely be back!

First time visit to Queenies and it will be my go to place when back in the area! I went the day after Thanksgiving at noon and it was about half capacity. Greeted and seated promptly. It was a cold day so I was thankful to be seated in the back booth area of the place. I was looking over the menu and I am always about getting my source of protein, however the side choices were so many that I decided on a vegetable plate. It didn’t disappoint. The cabbage with kimchi is a must. I also enjoyed the sweet potato with cilantro and Brussels sprouts. The appetizer we chose was a plate of 6 perfectly cooked biscuits served with gravy and bacon pimento cheese. We also requested butter and enjoyed regular and sweet butter. Service was on point! Food hot and satisfying. I ordered the shrimp and grits for a family member to go and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great Friday lunch. I had the Bacon Pimento Burger with fries and my wife had the Vege Platter Lunch (3 veggie sides). She had the Sweet Potatoes, Crispy Brussels Sprouts and the Smoked Cauliflower. Everything was delicious (my wife allowed me a taste of her sides). Also the biscuits were some of the best I have had. Definitely will return soon to try other menu options. Highly recommend!

My wife and I moved to Canton, GA, last year. We have always been a fan of Main St and its restaurant offerings. I am not sure why it has taken us so long to try Queenies. But I am glad we did. The interior is cozy and has that touch of southern charm mixed with farm flare. They have a nice bar available for drinks if you have to wait on a table. We walked in and were seated immediately. The menu is upgraded southern comfort food with some nice steak options. (a poor summary to be fair) We ordered the shrimp and grits and rainbow trout. Both were flavorful and delicious. In our travels, we have become conisours of shrimp and grits. This version would make the top ten list for sure. The trout was equally tasty. Round this out with good service and good cornbread, and you have a great place for date night. Put it on your list. You won’t be disappointed.

We stopped on our way to the airport. So glad we did. The recommendation for the Pork Belly wax spot on and I had the brisket and my husband had the pulled pork. The Dr. Pepper bbq sauce was so good. Our server Justin was awesome! Thank you for a great meal and service before our flight back to Wisconsin

This a great establishment for date night, special occasion, and family night. The service is always great with timely service and servers who all help each other out– unlike other establishments with unhappy servers left to fend for themselves. The smoked brisket, the fried chicken, and the rainbow trout are our entree favorites. All the sides are excellent–the salad with shaved vegetables and cornbread croutons, brussel sprouts, cauliflower, and mac-n-cheese are our go-to’s. It’s always great to see the chef check on us when we’re there, too! Definitely utilize online reservations to avoid the frequent wait times.

Absolutely amazing food and service! Our first visit was a month ago and we have returned 4 times already. It’s that good! And being able to make a reservation is a great option.
We have tried the fried chicken, grilled chicken, flounder, steak, brisket and most of the appetizers and ALL have been outstanding.
The chef has stopped at our table to make sure we were enjoying our meal and if you’re lucky enough to get Ruth or Ella as your server you will be well taken care of. All of the service we have had has been excellent from all the staff.
Great drink selection of beer and liquor and the atmosphere is very cozy. Definitely give this place a try. You won’t regret it!

Been to this place three times. Most recently for Valentine’s we made an appointment and was seated in a separate area that felt like a buffet style seating arrangement right next to other guests. Was very shocked and so were the other guests who walked in the same room. Should’ve had something telling us before hand of this changed seating arrangement. The most recent time it took probably 15-20 mins to finally get a waiter as well.

Clearly, I’m in the minority, but I didn’t see what was so special about this place. I ate here last week while visiting town, and was not impressed. I had the chicken meatballs which were on special and they were just not good. They were tough and cold in the middle. The ones from the frozen section at Sam’s are better. Also, the ranch dressing for my salad was warm which made it rather unappetizing. The waiter wasn’t particularly friendly, almost never checking on us, and my drink set empty most of the night. Just not a good experience, or what I was expecting since this place was so highly recommended. I left hungry and ordered a pizza when I got back to my hotel. I would not choose to return.
To be fair, the other people at my table seemed to really like their entrees. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.
