Saw these guys up at the Middle James in Waxhaw and figured I would give it a try.

WOW! It was amazing. I highly recommend the cheesesteak and the eggrolls was a twist I wasn’t expecting.

Spoke with Tim and found out it is a family run business and they have a brick and mortar location. Will definitely be visiting that this week.

I’ve come across the restaurant on IG and wanted to finally try it out.

Let me start by saying the food was DELICIOUS!! Super filling, well seasoned, and they did not skimp on the meat. Worth a visit!! You will not be disappointed!!

Now…here’s where my struggle came. I thought I would be going to a restaurant, like a mom and pop type place with seating. This is not that type of place. The restaurant operates out of a ghost kitchen with 8 other restaurants. If you don’t order online, then you have to order from a wall of tablets, having to select the right restaurant. The location is super small and will be easy to miss if you’ve never been before because it’s in ‘The City Kitchen’. There’s extremely limited seating so your best bet will be to not try to eat there and just get it to go, unless you get lucky enough to get seating at one of the 16 seats they have in the place that houses 9 restaurants. Also, think about the busy hours. Weekends especially. It’s a madhouse. KEEP THAT IN MIND! Order online and just go home.

Despite the far drive, I will definitely go back!

5+ stars! We tried the ribeye cheesesteak combo with fries and a drink, and it was delicious! We also grabbed a chicken cheesesteak egg roll with mambo sauce, and it was so good!

Pricing is reasonable for the quality of food and how amazing everything was! They have lots of options for kids, too.

Overall, this place hits all the marks: great food, fair prices, and a menu that makes you want to come back and try everything else. Highly recommend if you see them around Charlotte! We can’t wait to try more from the menu!

I was really looking forward to trying this food truck, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the price. The bread on the cheesesteak was soggy, the fries were underwhelming, and the sandwich was missing mayo, which made it pretty dry overall. The meat itself was seasoned, but for what I paid, I expected much better quality and execution. Disappointed, but hoping this was just an off day.

I ordered 2 philly cheesesteak egg rolls and a sweet tea. Egg rolls were nice and hot, crispy but not fried too hard. The steak, cheese, onions, and peppers were done really well, with great taste. Had a little grease, but you must know before u eat it that as an eggroll type, it will have some residual grease. The honey garlic sauce was really good and had a good bit of heat with the sweet. The tea wasn’t too sweet, and the price was affordable, would have been very affordable had i chose to do a pickup order. If you are in the area or just want some cheesesteak, stop by your tastebuds will not be disappointed!

I just want to share that this place is AMAZING! We ordered tonight off of DoorDash and the Philly was the best we have eaten since we moved here. Customer service was top notch too. They actually called to let me know they were out of meatballs and to ask if there was something else they could get us. Of all the establishments I have ordered this was the first one that did this. Customer service is very underrated in today’s world so I was blown away at how nice they were about it. We will definitely be eating here again!

My first experience with Queen City Cheesesteaks (QCCS) was not a good one. I ordered the Chicken Cheesesteak and paid for them to add sweet peppers. I don’t care that that add on only cost .50, it’s the principle – you, as a business, offered a product/good/service and didn’t provide it. Then when it was brought to your attention, you did nothing to correct it immediately. You have no integrity, you have no honor. You entered into a contract by choosing to open a business, and with that contract you agreed to provide a service for a nominal fee. I paid the agreed upon fee, but did not fully receive the service I paid for. You breached the contract. You received payment for goods not rendered, then you refused to make the customer whole.

But people seem to really enjoy your food. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to have that same experience/opportunity. Either this was an off day for you or people are settling and have grown accustomed to mediocrity. I do remember that the man who answered the phone said it had been a busy day. That’s a blessing! But if you want that to continue, perhaps you should devise a method to ensure orders are being made correctly even at peak hours/high volume. Measure twice, cut once.

Pictures are below. At first I thought it was chicken salad because it looked gray, choppy, and lackluster. No peppers, extremely diced onions, and I guess mayo was on it. Didn’t seem fresh, fries were cold (but I attributed that to the delivery time), and the cookies were dry. I will not order again nor will I recommend if asked by colleagues.

Honestly upon walking in to place my order I was lost had there not been a worker out there wouldn’t have known what to do how to order , however the cheesesteak was very good with flavor packed in there however with paying 15.99 for the sandwich isn’t worth it the sandwich was kinda small for the price and didn’t come with fries or no side. No drink anything . Wouldn’t say I’d be back but it was a good sandwich

Probably the best cheesesteak i have had in charlotte. Equal to cheats if not better. Wish i lived closer i usually go to lees hoagie house which is great also.
As to people complaining about the pricing, the steak is excellent quality and their prices are a bit less than other cheesesteaks. Its the going rate and you can thank joe biden for that.
If you enjoy cheesesteaks this is definitely top three in charlotte.

My husband and I had a lunch special steak Philly and chicken Philly combo. The flavor was okay. My husband stated they should season the chicken more. The wait wasn’t long but we did order online and arrived at pick up time and it was just a n additional 5 minute wait beyond that. I can’t say we will return because we like Big Dave’s a lot better because they do season well.
