This is the best Chinese buffet on the south side of Indianapolis. They have a decently large selection of sushi and the variety of hot dishes. Quality is higher than the average Chinese buffet. Price also reflects that but it’s still good value.
LO MEIN HERE IS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The texture is correct and they use the right type of noodles for it. It is better than a lot of take-out order places. I always load up on this.
Sushi is also comparable quality to Sushi Club, but limited selection to whatever they put out. They sometimes have nigiri.
Other notable mentions are that they have stir-fried green beans, mushrooms, steamed whole fish, and salt-n-pepper frog legs. All of them taste great!
They also have pretty attentive service from the staff! They will give you multiple refills on soda. The other staff also keep up with refilling the buffet food. I’ve been here multiple times and never has the food been old or empty.

This is actually the best china buffet (food quality) on the south and westside BUT price is on the high side! Everything was very well prepared and the hibachi bar was very good! It’s comparable to Yummy Bowl where you pick your own meats, veggies and sauces. We came in on a Saturday around 6PM and there was no wait. I noticed that food was immediately filled back up as soon as it was getting low. I definitely appreciated it because other buffets do not pay as close attention and you’re stuck asking and waiting. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. The seafood was good and especially salt and pepper prawn (with shells) was close to perfect and very similar to The Journey. I do look forward to rice krispie treats at buffets for my dessert and banana pudding when I go to a buffet. **The Rice Krispie treat somehow had a ton of butter on the outside of it and I actually had to spit it out*. It was very gross!!!! The banana pudding was good though.
Considering everything I’ve said (mostly good) they need to knock a little off the pricing though! With just having water for drinks, 2 buffets with tax and tip it was near $ 50!

I hate to rate it 3 stars but it was just okay. It is newly opened so I assumed it would be on top of its game. There were many dishes that were dried up/old on the bar. The coconut shrimp was delicious but I only know that because I caught them refilling the pan after already trying the old dried up one from when we first got there. They had quite a few seafood options and shrimp options. The fried shrimp was good and also the teriyaki chicken on the bar.
My husband did say the ribs were good and very tender. I tried the hibachi and it was decent. The sushi bar didn’t seem the freshest though, the avocado on top was very brown and looked old and the rice was dried out a bit. The cheesecake on the dessert bar was nasty and hard. I expected a lot more but was left wanting. I probably won’t be back especially since it’s about 20 bucks per person for weekend dinner (not including drink).

The south side of indy has a really decent buffet again. We went for an early dinner mid week and were met with great efforts. Clean, fresh and friendly! Very tidy from the entry to our table and all in between. The food was very well kept and we had great selection at our fingertips. Seafood abundance and the sides were wonderful. Tasty sushi and very tasty dessert bar. Don’t let this get away from you! Head over and take it all in! Don’t forget the frog legs!

It’s new and its nice and clean. I like the variety of options they serve. Hibachi, Sushi, and plenty of hot and cold food options for anyone to leave full on. Food on buffet didnt look old and was flavorful. Looked like they had plenty of servers taking plates away. Staff was nice. Will definitely be back.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Not excellent but not bad. Typical Asian-American buffet with high amounts of salt and syrups but limited on flavor in my opinion. I really enjoyed the Hibachi but the Hibachi grill man was not friendly and when I asked a question, no answer because no English spoken or he just didn’t want to answer. He may have been having a bad day. However, my server was very attentive and fast. She was excellent! Lastly, some of the chicken was more batter and sugar syrup than chicken. Again, I enjoyed overall but did not wow me.
I would give it another chance though.

My wife and I went here for the first time recently. The service was great, everything looked and smelled up to par, but it just wasn’t that good unfortunately. The food felt like it was provided by Sysco and it wasn’t made fresh in the kitchen.

We took our family for the Sunday buffet at lunch and were not disappointed. Everything was fresh and hot and there was a great variety…something for everyone. We didn’t try the hibachi grill or sushi bar, but they looked nice. One of our sons was very happy to see crab legs, a favorite of his. Even our granddaughters (3 and 4) enjoyed the food and ate very well. Everyone was friendly and they kept clearing our table as necessary. It’s so nice having such a great Chinese buffet on the south side. The restaurant is bright, clean, and very welcoming. We know we’ll be regulars.

Food was good, service was great, and the atmosphere was lively and fun to be in. All in all a good place to eat. Genuinely haven’t been to a good buffet on this side of town in a year or two. Will be eating here again definitely.
Food: kept hot and fresh nice selection.
Service: polite and quick with service such as refills and taking finished plates.
Atmosphere: Nice calming background music, pretty aesthetic, and comfortable seating.

So pleased with our visit here. The sushi options are incredible and delicious. The rest of the buffet options are very eclectic and cater to all cuisine types. Everything was delicious and I actually tried frog legs for the first time since they were available! Tasted just like chicken! I have never seen any other Asian style buffet offer such a wide range of delicious options! I even went back for certain sushi and other options. Compared to some other buffets in the area, I think this may be the best for overall variety, food freshness, and restaurant cleanliness. If I wasn’t from out of state, I would make this a regularly visited restaurant!
