I went to have dinner with my wife, Larissa was our server and she made us spend a nice time with her good service and care, she even helped us to pack our leftovers. Jesus , the manager, approached to us to check that everything was fine, we saw him present at each table which that makes us think he cares about every customer and we noticed the same of every other server, always around in the floor (super surprised since we don’t usually experience such a warm service at any other place in Charlotte since we moved in). About the food, we ordered first the chips with guac, queso and salsa.. personally I prefer the queso more thicker, this was watery but with good flavor… my burrito Perron was good and my wife order the quesabirria that it was tender and tasty. Churros were a bit extra sweet for our taste but crunchy. Overall, the service complete the 5 stars over the food. We will definitely come back!

Always such a good vibe, especially on Tuesdays. Now that I’ve visited a few locations I’ve noticed that they’re taco Tuesday specials do vary in price $.25-$.50 nothing major. The Carnitas taco is by far the best for $2.50. Definitely recommend hitting this place up if you’re in the mood for a good Street Tacos at a great price.

My food wasn’t as great as I had hoped. My shrimp in my tacos were cooked too done and came out a bit rubbery. The ewst and my drink were pretty good. I wasn’t overly impressed with the food, but I may try them again just in case it waa a fluke. The atmosphere was great and so were the waitstaff.

The place is a local Mexican restaurant off Eastfield Boulevard right at the corner of Prosperity. This is my second time at this spot and in both instances, it was extremely crowded. The food is authentic Mexican and tastes amazing. I’ve tried quite a few things on the menu and each time I’ve actually been extremely satisfied. If you’re in the mood for authentic Mexican flavors with a friendly neighborhood vibe you may want to check out this restaurant.

I took my family – husband and kids – to check out this place. We love Mexican food. Happy to say that we liked the choices – ordered tacos, beef fajitas and ramen. Bartender Larissa recommended my husband and I a new brand of tequila we never tried before and it was a hit.

We have been to this location a few times and had great experiences. I’m not sure what has happened in the past few months…..We even did takeout and were satisfied however today was a failure. Total was about $108 and when we got home and opened our boxes we were disappointed in what they contained. One of the dishes was about $24.95. and barely on a bed of rice. We aren’t expecting to have the same presentation as if we dine in, however we are expecting close to the same amount of food that equals the price we paid. Unfortunately, we will not return to this location nor do we recommend as take-out. We missed salsa with the chicken tacos, barely any fries for a side order. ….The pictures taken are and these are not all of them.

I come to this location several times after work, and LOVE this location. I ask for Hayden every time and she makes sure my drink is refilled, my order is correct and my order always comes out hot. I love the Tuesday drink special and how quick the service is. Get the Birria tacos if you come!

Exceptional Dining Experience at Que Onda Original!
We’d heard rave reviews about the original Que Onda restaurant, and our curiosity was piqued. Although we’d tried many of their dishes at other locations, we were eager to explore new options. The birria torta and birria ramen exceeded our expectations. The generous serving of tender, juicy meat was perfectly seasoned. The drinks were also very amazing and thirst quenching.
What truly stood out, however, was the restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere. Even though this is the oldest Que Onda restaurant, it still holds its own homey charm – a true testament to the owners and manager’s dedication to preserving its authentic character.
We’ll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend trying their unique dishes. Service and quality were top-notch!
