When it comes to dining out, good food is important. If it’s authentic, well prepared and delicious Mexican cuisine you’re craving, this may very well be the best spot in Lexington. They serve something more here, however. The kindness, warmth and faith of the family that established it will not only fill your belly, but your heart as well. The beauty of the family that runs this place makes it, in my humble opinion, THE destination for Mexican cuisine in the area. Buen Provecho! TG Facebook Review

Had the house strawberry margarita (very good), the Enchiladas Verdes (tangy but lacking spice), and the Chipotle Cream Burrito (not sure about this one, bit of a strange flavor and also lacked spice – although the waitress did ask if we wanted hot sauce, so maybe that’s on us.) The chips were great but the rice was bland. Draft beer was good. Portions seemed small at first but filled us up nicely.

For the food and the price this place was a win. The service was efficient and fast. We were in and out within an hour tops. Our server Maria was pleasant and patient. Overall really enjoyed eating here! Would definitely recommend the Beef Fajitas Quesadillas and the Chimichangas and the queso dip had a nice kick. They do have their own parking lot and indoor restrooms. As well as several seating areas to choose from inside and outside, including a sports bar area. If you want fast service with affordable Mexican food, I would definitely recommend giving Que Bueno a try.

Very good food in a simple environment. A Sunday evening dinner, just the two of us. I had the Quesabirra Tacos and she had the Chicken Fajitas. Wow! The tacos were wonderful. Maria provided excellent service. We’ll be back.

We tried this place because the reviews were great. Unfortunately, I think they need to rename the restaurant “No Bueno”. It started off poor because the salsa was basically water (the chips were fine).
We ordered the chicken quesadilla, vegetarian enchiladas (pictured), and kid’s pizza with fries. The good thing is that the portion sizes are large and the food looks delicious. However, nothing had flavor (just like the salsa). None of us enjoyed our meal, and we spent $60 after tip and tax for two adults and one child. The waitress was polite. One weird thing about service was that they didn’t bring all of our food at the same time. They brought each dish individually with a few minutes between each. The same happened at a table of 6 sitting near us.
Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant and I’m surprised that the reviews are so good.

I think this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. 10/10 for real. A little pricier than other standard Mexican places but for good reason, this food was on another level. I had the fajita quesadilla. Can’t wait to go back!

Decided to try something different Mexican food wise for a late lunch/early dinner (4:30-5:00). Whenever I pass this place during the day, it always seems like it’s closed and no one is inside, but the reviews are crazy good, so I decided to take a chance. I am glad I did. I had frozen mango margaritas and quesabirria quesadillas and they were awesome.

WOW! SOOOO GOOD!! We were craving some Mexican food so we Google searched and this was the closet place. Thanks Google!! Food was sooo yummy! Rice and beans were 5 star and that steak burrito was Amazing. Salsa is 10 out of 10. Nicely decorated inside and the staff is friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back! BRAVO!!

My nachos were not good, no cheese .Table spoon size beans and sour cream..The chicken was supposed to be shredded and it wasn’t and had zero taste and dry …” beef” barely taste the meat because I couldn’t really find it…They also don’t know how to make a quesadilla..They folded it as if it’s a regular burrito..My table and chairs were dirty .First and last time eating here…The best Mexican restaurant..Bush river, St Andrews and Lexington oh! Chapin..Your prices doesn’t match the non quality taste

Arrived at about 3 pm on a Wednesday afternoon. We were literally the only ones inside the restaurant. We were greeted and sat immediately. The waitress was really nice and attentive. My only complain about service is the amount of time between seating and ordering drinks to the other visits. With us being the only ones there, we had a bit of waiting time between ordering and so on, but no big deal. After ordering, the food came out in no more than 10 minutes. The food was fresh, hot, and tasted very well. The Mexico Burrito was really good. My only other issue was the menu was a little pricey, but other than that a good spot!

Tough parking lot, nice building and decor, clean. Good prompt service. Slightly above average prices.
.
Tortilla chips: Below average, thick and not warm
Salsa: Above average, very smooth
Seafood Chipotle: Very good flavor, average portion, not spicy. Wish it came with some soft tortillas.
Sweet tea: Not very good, under steeped and under sweet.
My friends liked their dishes.
