Family friendly great service (thanks to Tamara & our hostess too).
Our family enjoyed the visit especially when tired mamma (trip planner) had her margarita before happy hour !!!! Huge fishbowl size $6 (great deal). Fried ice cream.
Highly recommend! Great local places to visit.

We have been regulars for the past 20 years and I have always praised and recommended Que Bueno for its consistently good service and delicious basic Mexican food. This changed for us tonight! The restaurant was not busy for a Friday night yet the two servers in our area were totally inept. We waited 30 minutes for them to take our order as they kept promising to get back to us. No one checked on our water – we had to ask for a refill every time. We also requested a takeout order in addition to our two in house meals. When we got our food it was delicious as always but we had to remind them about our takeout order. This was brought to us fairly quickly but it came in a thin plastic bag and the server warned me it was hot. I asked why it wasn’t in a paper bag as usual because always before our takeout came that way along with a small bag of chips and salsa. She argued that in her five years there it had never been brought in anything but a thin plastic bag AND that chips and salsa didn’t come with takeout unless you ordered by phone??? Now we have ordered takeout with our meal for other family members at home for years from Que Bueno and it always came in a paper bag with chips and salsa. Even Mrs Sanchez now claims we are mistaken. Obviously the other servers we had in the past did a better job packing the takeout. I’ve never had to hold a boiling hot meal before in a thin plastic bag. I am a retired customer service manager and this is not how you handle a dissatisfied customer. Arguing with us was the icing on the cake. No effort was made to resolve our problem ( a heavier plastic or paper bag as well as the usual chips and salsa) and consequently no tip was left. We are normally generous tippers but not for the insolent attitude we received tonight. We will not return and gone are future recommendations. Wake up Que Bueno or you will soon be out of business!

Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Miss Ara was very nice and even accommodated a nice meal for my toddler that wasn’t on the menu. I’ll be visiting again.

Nice, quiet place Saturday afternoon 12/20/25. Food was basic Mexican food but good. Owner waited on us. No lights on in the whole place.

This restaurant is a nice hidden gem. The interior is a festive bar. The wait staff is friendly and hospitable. The food is good and plentiful. The prices are average. I enjoyed my visit and I would recommend it for a good meal at a reasonable price.

I used to be an occasional visitor from England, to Que Bueno during my travels, and always enjoyed the food and quiet, unassuming ambiance of the restaurant.
Now, I’m a permanent resident, and love visiting the restaurant maybe twice a month. It’s not changed in the years I’ve been a patron, and I like the familiarity, the consistently good food and the relaxed, quiet seating area with beautiful mountain views.
The staff are courteous, friendly and patient – they don’t push you out from your table when you’re finished.
I could eat anywhere, but this is my chosen go-to place for a little peace, recharge and good food gracias!!

A favorite for lunch for us! I love their chicken fajita salad and their salsa. They are family owned and really lovely people!!

I’m torn. The jalapeno margarita was awesome as was the green chili burrito flavor. But there were problems. The drink menu says happy hour 2-6 daily and lists six different margaritas (see pic). When the bill came, the waitress explained that only ONE type was on happy hour (not the ones we had). Misleading if not dishonest. The “happy hour” sign on the drink menu points to “magaritas”, not one specific type. Salsa was chopped tomatoes with little to no flavor. Meat in burrito was tasty, but unchewable. Overall, good potential but left me feeling ripped off.

Great Mexican food! A staple in Fountain Hills. It’s a friendly family-owned place with excellent food, truly delicious award-winning salsa, (the hot is amazing)and delicious margaritas, or ice cold beer, (seriously haven’t had a mug that cold anywhere!)Delicious! Acapollo Chicken, Daniel’s tacos, are ac few of my favorihg

We have not been there in a very long time. We arrived. We were the only customers in the restaurant, we thought we would never get waited on. We finally get served. A couple more table of customers arrive. The server came back one time asking if we needed anything. We asked yes, could we please get some more salsa. She never again came to our table. The table next to us she brought extra salsa. We were finished eating. We sat patiently waiting to get our bill. Finally, my husband said, this is ridiculous, I am going up to find her and pay our bill. We live in Fountain Hills and I can tell you we will never think about dining here ever again in the future and we would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is just fair and this was the most inept service. I could understand if the place was really busy, I could give a pass. Sorry, not sorry . Do not recommend. Fountain Hills please get some decent restaurants
