When you book with Four Seasons, you are paying for the peace of mind that every detail has been considered. The Après Village experience was the exact opposite of that promise.
The Atmosphere: We paid a $150 premium for a mini chalet, expecting a cozy winter sanctuary. Instead, we sat in the freezing cold. Aside from a small fire pit, there was no heating provided which is an absurd oversight for a luxury winter experience.
The Service: The service was virtually non-existent. Staff were absent for long periods, brought food without silverware, and messed up our orders twice. There was a palpable lack of training, compounded by a communication barrier that made basic interactions frustrating. The staff members could not speak basic English.
The Food: The culinary execution was disheartening. Most dishes arrived cold, and the quality was indistinguishable from standard theme park food and completely devoid of the creativity or quality expected at this price point ($650 for 4).
This experience felt careless and visibly lacked the pride and effort that usually defines this brand.
The Burrata is such a lovely and flavorful appetizer! Absolutely delicious dish!! Fresh burrata and tomatoes with a balsamic glaze and greens. Highly recommend!!
She was incredible.Seriously, one of the best servers I’ve ever had.
She was super friendly and had a really cool, positive vibe. She’s the one who sold us on the linguine tagliatelle ai funghi and then let us in on the ‘secret weapon’ of adding short rib to it. We did, and it was insane. Her recommendations were perfect. She totally changed our dinner from just a “nice meal” into a 10/10 experience.
Honestly, she’s the reason we’ll be back. We’re already planning to bring friends just so they can have the same experience.
