I haven’t tried the food here yet, but the service is fast because you order at the cashier and then find a table on the patio. I love that they have live music three days a week and it’s always cool down by the marina.

This is my go-to for sunsets. Sitting right in the Marina overlooking the boats and water out to the Olympics, in my opinion, it doesn’t get much better than that! Great options of wine, beer and cider. The owner is so nice, he’s a former boat owner that wanted to create a space for the boaters to come in, but I think it’s collected the entire local community with the chill and relaxing boater vibe. The live music performances and readings during the Summer add the perfect ambience. Did I mention all the cute dogs? Very dog friendly.

Total gem. Came here with my 2 year old and there’s space to run around. Excellent oat milk latte. We got the beyond sausage breakfast burrito and sausage breakfast sandwich. Awesome value. Clearly a popular but laid back spot.

Cute little spot next to the marina, great views! All seating is outdoors, love the Adirondack chairs and plenty of other seating, some is covered. Great selection of wine, beer, and some cocktails. Simple food menu nothing too elaborate just sandwiches but have seen an occasional food truck parked outside. Dog friendly!

I LOVE this place. Such an awesome concept of wine/cider/coffee bar with light eats (but you can also bring your own), killer view, covered section for hot and cold weather and an area for you to bring your dog! But even better than that? The amazing people that work there. They really build community. They remember who you are, chat when there’s time, make recommendations if you are looking to branch out and are all around welcoming. I almost DON’T want to give a review. I’d like to keep our little Des Moines Maria secret, but that wouldn’t be fair. This place should not be missed – sun or clouds!

We enjoyed this little gem. Great little spot to have a glass of wine and a snack. Great views of the ocean & mountains, it pairs well with wine. On a hot day in Seattle, we found it much cooler near the water. Friendly staff. Dog friendly

This is a great place in Des Moines to watch the sunset on the Highline. We came here on a very sunny day after a gloomy spring week and felt lifted. The menu is limited, but they have things like beer, wine, and even Lambrusco for you chilled red wine lovers. We ordered the cheese and meat plate and it was pretty basic But actually tasted pretty good. It was no frills on a paper plate, but it did the trick to take away our hunger. They do have trivia, seems like once a month and other events that go on. We did attempt to go to trivia once and it was so packed We left but we will definitely be back to try again.

What a fun coffee shop! The Quarterdeck offers live music most weekends over the summer, and has lots of outdoor seating. The proprietor, MacKenzie, is just delightful, making the visit that much better. Coffee is good, and there was also beer and wine options. Since the Quarter deck is right on the Des Moines Marina, the view is spectacular! I would highly recommend stopping here!
