Fish and chips to die for. Fries were excellent! I don’t like Cole slaw but theirs was tangy and yummy.

My hubbie and I love this place!!! We hadn’t been in a while, so had a spontaneous date night on Thursday. We had the nachos with corned beef, the fried pickles, and a couple Meads.
The nachos were a great size with no skimping out on the toppings for sure! The corned beef was delicious & the Jalapeños were fresh & spicy! The pickles were huge, crispy yet juicy. I thought they were a bit on the salty side, but still super delicious. My hubbie drank a blueberry raspberry mead and I had the Sour Cherry Mead, both delicious! Service was wonderful as usual as well!

A general perfect pub. Great drinks, open and friendly atmosphere, fantastic staff and genuinely good food.
Excellent fish and chips. Very large white fish with no fishy smell or taste. Fluuy soft interior with excellent breading. Sweet potato chips are nice. Not the best I had but seasoned with salt and pepper and a nice consistency.
Previously had the bourbon pecan pie and it is stellar. The bourbon is strong but, despite that, doesn’t ruin the pecan pie. It’s a nice psize and a very, very sweet filling. Have been here for two work events and it always delivers.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food beyond delicious. Started with the poutine to share (amazing!), then I had the Celtic Trio with the Shepard’s Pie, Bangers n Mash, and stew while my husband got the Turkey Melt.
Oh, also they have a mead flight and you have to try the ‘Viking’ mead.

Went early on a Saturday evening and it was pretty packed, but found a seat immediately, right beside the kitchen, so I enjoyed watching the chefs work and call out the orders, the atmosphere was great. Servers were very attentive.

The fish was over fried and super tough. First bite I took was like chewing on a tough piece of leather. I mentioned it to my waiter he was cool and got me a new order. It was better but still tough. It also smelled and tasted fishy. My girls burger was also not good. It tasted bad and seemed to have been steamed in water then hit on the grill. Just overall was not good. The manager didn’t charge us. Positive thing was the beer…it was good. Great place for a beer bad place for food. Won’t be back though. I will stick to Too Fool’s for my fish and chips.

Giving a extra star because we had amazing customer service by our server he was a very nice guy could tell he enjoys being at his job and made our first experience very welcoming. But unfortunately it will be our last time at this establishment. We had the fried pickles, fried green chiles, and 2 Rubens with fries. By the time we got to our car our stomachs didn’t feel right by the time we got home we were sick to our stomachs we have been throwing up all night. Glad we took our kids to get food before we came to this establishment because now we only have to deal with us being sick and not them.

Easily the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! And in a land locked state? Great job to the kitchen! On the beer front, I am really impressed! The Schwarzbier and the Kill or be Kilt are fantastic! Talked to a brewer, I guess they have both won international awards! 10/10 would recommend!

A friend and I both ordered the 2 piece fish. The bartender was a little rude since we didn’t order a beer or anything. I guess he didn’t think it ok to sit at the bar without one from his snarky comment. He didn’t ask if we wanted separate checks, just plopped a $43 ticket on the counter. I dropped my credit card on the counter and went to use the restroom (pretty dirty one, I might add). When I came back, apparently my friend asked him to separate the check. Both were for $23 something. The math ain’t mathin, he added $4 for some reason. Won’t be back. Oh well, the fish and chips were good, but cole slaw is always a year old.
