Quarantino’s opened in the summer of 2020 as a Detroit-style pizza pop-up in response to the pandemic. Much like the little engine that could, we stubbornly refused to go away. Now we are open for dine-in and serving food and a nice selection of adult and NA beverages.

I am not from the Grand Rapids area, so I asked around for a good pizza place. Quarantino’s was recommended. Their pizza is Detroit style pizza (rectangle deep dish), the ingredients were good. I ordered the “Roni Boi” with light sauce, beer cheese (smoked gouda beer cheese) and it was served with soft pretzel knots. My partner ordered their Breadsticks which were good.

This was our first time here. The deep dish pizza was delicious. The salad was ok not as fresh as expected. but the olives were excellent. We also bought some freshly baked sourdough bread and hot honey. We will be back. Service was fast and friendly

Best pizza place on the Westside of Michigan. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in years. It is structurally perfect Detroit-style that you can pickup with fear of a flop. Funky flavor options are insanely good. For example, take the Leave it to Caesar, a Kale Chicken Caesar salad in pizza form. If you like the salad, you’ll love the pizza. Just think of the dough as the croutons Traditional pizza styles are also solid.

Simply put, some of the best pizza in the area. Best Detroit style I’ve had hands down. Licari is the only place around playing in the same league that I know of at least. This is one of those places where you can tell they take pride in their craft – it really feels like a craft. And what pizza place can also provide the best English muffins you’ve ever had? Absolutely amazing Detroit style pizza. That staff was equally as amazing as the food. It was obvious that Quarantino’s takes both their service and food very seriously.
We ordered 2 different pizzas and an order of breadsticks which was more than enough food for 2 with lots of leftovers. We got the Bumpy Cake for desert which was delicious. Would highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Ordered take out Bruschetta pizza and arancini. I was looking for a tomatoey taste and the bruschetta fit the bill. Very good. The 5 arancinis had very good texture but we found it quite salty. Wish I could return it. Suggest backing off on the salt. Our benchmark for arancini is the arancini in Eataly in Chicago. Quite busy on a Friday night. Still had to wait for the food that was supposed to be picked up at 630pm which I ordered at 445pm. They said it will be ready but it wasn’t. I still had to wait. Plus the guy behind the counter was rude. I think he thinks he was being cool but not.

Great pizza definitely worth getting since it’s almost the same price at Jett’s. The vibes were great, seems like a great community of staff and workers. The owner was really fun, make sure you try to get to know him while you are there. Great guy to talk to. Overall worth it.

My friend Emily and I came to Quarantino’s last night with the intention of spending $80 (our salary from coaching a youth ultimate frisbee team.) We ordered a bottle of wine, a large kale caesar salad, a pizza, and a bumpy cake. All were absolutely delicious. We would have called it good there, but our warm and delightful server– Isaac– talked us into also trying a citrus tiramisu. This guy has FOH manager potential. I would NOT have previously considered this weird tiramisu, but it was totally delicious. Wow. Eighty dollars is a small price to pay for a night of indulgence and overall great vibes. A fellow patron donated a mozz stick to our table, which just goes to show the spirit of community and goodwill that seems to thrive in this establishment. Great pizza, great dessert, great banter. Five stars from me.

We had the most amazing experience coming from out of town and trying one of Grand Rapids top 10 restaurants! Their sourdough pizza sets them above the rest but so does all the ingredients they use even their vegan cheese (best ever) We had regular pizza too which was just the best ever! Our server was the nicest guy and so accommodating and family friendly! My husband loved their beer selection and I also loved their wine selection! We never order our kids fountain drinks so they were so excited to get their homemade pink lemonade which I tried and was indeed the best ever as well. Everything I tried I just keep saying “it’s the best ever” Next time we visit Grand Rapids we will definitely come back!
