Our story began in 2016 when we opened our doors with the sole purpose of serving fresh, authentic Vietnamese food. As we focused on this seemingly simple mission, our restaurant’s exceptional food quality, excellent customer service, colorful environment, and unmatchable value all fell into place as well. With our in-house branded “Mii Sauce”, all of our flavorful dishes became heightened in depth and seasoning, adding a myriad of new flavors and umami. We are best known for our Bánh Xèo (Crispy Crepe)! We cordially invite everyone to come in and try our delicious dishes–made with locally sourced ingredients, cooked with great intentionality, and served proudly by our warm and inviting staff. What are you waiting for!

Bun Rieu was “mid” and $17: the broth lacked that authentic flavor and they also skimp on proteins here. They give you 4 small tofus, 1 crab patty, and 1 small cha (meatloaf).
The banh beo chen was your regular banh beo, but not the authentic mien trung flavor
The service was quick and the fish sauce was delicious to dip in.
I’m not saying the food isn’t good, but there are things that could improved.
* Special Banh Xeo with shrimp, pork, and squid 5/5 – They’re known for their banh xeo and I can see why. The banh xeo was huge. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. There was also a charred flavor and texture that enhanced the taste. There was a good amount of toppings. The accompanying sauce was also very good.
* Banh Beo Hue (Steamed Rice Flour Cakes with Shredded Shrimps) 3.5/5 – The rice flour cakes were quite plain and the sauce that came with it was a very mild sweet fish sauce. It didn’t help the flavor. I ate these with the banh xeo fish sauce and it was much better.
* Grilled Lemongrass Pork with Steamed Rice 4.5/5 – This was really good. The rice was slightly chewy, almost like sushi rice. There was a bite to it. The lemongrass beef was flavorful. The special sauce the dish came with was amazing. It was mildly salty, sweet, and tangy. Everything that dipped in it became twice as delicious.
* Thai Tea 3.5/5 – Good drink, but contained too much ice (3/4 of the whole cup).
From the moment I walked in, the hostess greeted me with a serious and unwelcoming attitude. I ordered the Quang noodles and Grilled Pork Vermicelli (Bún Thịt Nướng), but both dishes fell far short of my expectations. The Quang noodles had a strange flavor that resembled butter and fermented shrimp paste, which was off-putting.
Prices were surprisingly high compared to similar restaurants. One Bánh Xèo (Vietnamese pancake) costs nearly $20 — something I honestly couldn’t believe.
Overall, if I had to sum up my experience in three words: extremely disappointing.
The crunchiness and slight sweetness to the banh xeo batter topped the experience of eating here. You wonder how it gets so crispy while still being able to fold and not get cracked! The shrimp was also fried in the batter with a yummy taste. Vegetables were fresh. Each bite had a perfect balance of hot (banh xeo) and cold (veggies).
The egg rolls (cha gio) were very enjoyable as well.
Definitely a place worth paying ~$18 for a shrimp banh xeo for.
Drink wise, this place doesn’t serve beer or alcohol.
I always get the mam Tom chua, 4*. My wife likes the mi quang, 4.5*, but I personally give it 3.5* for the overall taste. The bowl and portions are very generous though. Eggs are great too but would do 4*.
