Banh mi is crunchy. Bbq pork meat is a little different from what I was expecting (like not real pork?!), but it is good overall. The house sauce is super spicy

Their lemongrass chicken banh mi is soooooooooo good. I don’t even like banh mi or chicken but theirs ? will eat any day. Genuinely have the most delicious chicken with lemongrass and they put the right amount of ingredients to meat ratio. Should 100% check them out!

Got the QT Special which is the bahn mi combo. The bread was toasted and the sandwich was pretty good. Not the best I’ve had. It was missing the pickled daikon. It only had pickled carrots (which I didn’t feel was very pickled). Overall, an ok sandwich but not as good as ones I’ve had at other places. The price was fair as the sandwich was quite large. Not very much meat at all. Just carry out and really just a hole in the wall place.

Whenever I visit Philadelphia, we buy multiple sandwiches to go. I have recommended this place to my friends and they now eat here or request a sandwich from here whenever one of us is in Philly. I have yet to find a banh mi as delicious and balanced even in New York City. Their QT special sandwich bread to meat to toppings ratio just works. Toppings are fresh. Bread baked with the right chew and crisp. Their spread mix is savory and more than just mayo. I like the pork patty they use. It’s not too thick cut either where you mostly taste the patty’s sweeter flavor profile.

Don’t order the home sauce unless you like it really spicy! I do and was surprised just how hot it is. No seating to eat but there are a couple of long benches a block away on Cherry street. Had the Tofu Bahn Mi. Gigantic for under $10.

Crusty baguette that supports the dominant flavors of pickles and meat. The balance of zesty crunch and rich meat is essential here. Both have integrity on their own, but don’t overwhelm the other. All other flavors – cilantro, pate, jalapeno – play important supporting roles in the background. If you like spice, the jalapeno is a bit lacking, so ask for home sauce, though it’s very spicy! I’ve tried the BBQ pork and QT special – both perfect, though I prefer the BBQ pork.

Very solid sandwich. Got the QT special. I must have missed that there was a house / special sauce. I have had better but still respectable especially when you’re having a craving.
Staff are very friendly and attentive.
Note that there is a charge for credit cards and that seating is quite limited. I was fortunate to come when they weren’t busy.

Stopped by for a late lunch and after reading reviews I went for #8 tofu and mushroom with onions and peppers. Made fresh to order, this is the best vegetarian banh mi I’ve ever eaten. Very flavorful with lots of fresh ground pepper and jalapeno. The pickled carrot, onion, cilantro and cucumber add a nice crunch. Excellent baguette with really good crustiness – I was glad they didn’t disappoint. Large portion size. Fast, friendly service.

Best banh mi in all of Philly! I cannot get over how crispy the bread is. The toppings are super flavorful too. We got the lemongrass chicken and QT special. I’m salivating just thinking about the sandwiches! The best thing about the banh mi here is that you won’t find a banh mi easily for under $10 anywhere in the city but here!
