The food is really good. My kids get the chicken and fried rice and split it cause it is a huge portion. The chicken hibachi is really good! Again, the portions are very big. Also had the California roll…great as well.

We’ve been here 4 or 5 of times since they’ve opened. All of the food is good. They didn’t have sushi the first few weeks they were open, because the owners didn’t like the seafood and refused the shipment. I thought that was very wise. It made me try them again. They didn’t disappoint. We’ve since eaten here at different times with a few different items, and it was all very good. Support your local restaurant. This one is well worth going back.

Not good. At all. We went with a group of 4 people and was there for an hour and a half. It took over 30 minutes to get our food and all got was a order of fries and 4 sushi rolls. Then one of the rolls had what looked like rotten fish and tasted awful, so they sent it back. Did not get a new roll and the kitchen kept it, and they still charged for the roll. As soon as we got our food we asked for a bill because we were ready to go. Not to mention it over 40 minutes to get out bill. Will not be back EVER again.

Food was Great!! Was a little confused when the lady said “sushi truck” , then it was explained that her English is not very good and she meant truck that brought the food supplies for sushi didn’t show up. Their sushi was great though fell apart a little because it wasn’t rolled quiet tight enough but it didn’t affect the fabulous taste. The staff was polite, great and timely. I think their first couple of weeks were tough because of bad luck and Murphy’s law. Small business doing great job but struggling. Definitely cheering them on because adds a diverse menu to all the fast food. Recommend people who aren’t in the first couple of days and weeks go back and give them another chance!!!

I have eaten here twice and both times were exceptional. I had great service they were very fast and friendly. They checked up on us multiple times. If you are considering dining here I don’t think you will regret it! To others who criticize this restaurant have to consider it IS Japanese food nothing like Chinese so it’s probably something you haven’t tried before, so of course it’s going to taste different to some. Where else can you get any kind of food like this around here for $12. That was a fountain drink including my meal! I suggest trying one of the hibachi dinners.

Servers were incredibly nice, sadly the food was not up to par. I ordered the lunch New York strip steak hibachi medium rare with fried rice. I received well done steak cut into tiny cubes smothered in cold sauce that was nearly inedible. the fried rice was tough and under cooked. My wife ordered the chicken plate and had raw portions of chicken mixed in with the cooked portions. She could not even eat her food due to safety risks. We paid and thanked them and decided it was not for us.

Genuine Perfectly prepared fresh sushi! Fresh PERFECT fried rice dishes! Chef excels above all I have seen in Alabama. The name and building does not do the food justice. Don’t be fooled by the cover!!

Was not impressed but wanted to give it a shot since there’s not much in this small town. Soup was cold, salad dressing and yum yum sauce were exactly the same and tasted like mayonnaise. Sushi was not good- rice was rubbery and no flavor what so ever. Fried rice was bland. We did not care for anything we got, but we gave it a try.

My husband and mother and i love eating here. But tonight the food was not good… we did not get the rice that comes with our meal or the cracker for soup. Which the soup had no flavor tasted like water. The steak was over cooked. Im not pleased at all..

Just ate there today. Food was really bad. Ginger salad was really weird tasting. I ordered pad Thai. Not sure what I received but it was not pad Thai. I could not eat the food. It had the oddest taste. My son ordered chicken hibachi. He could not eat his food either. My sons friends could not eat their meals. I paid $44 ( 4 people) for food that was un-eatable. I really hate that this new restaurant is not good. We really need more places to eat. Also no suhsi at a suhsi place.
