If you love sushi, and a wide variety of asian dishes you have to make a trip to Qmi! The atmosphere gives a nod to the origination of sushi as a handheld treat between theater shows. The venue is large with many booths great for kids and the elderly. Plenty of parking and great priced lunch menu. The food is delicious, and great quality. Our server was very nice and polite, I could tell she had a hard time understanding me at times. As I asked for two different meals and the slight language barrier got me two different dishes. I believe they use the lunch menu and time to help train new staff. Which I was able to make any corrections needed, but my only question was around the crispy roll which is deep fried. The amount of breading was massive and it was more spongy than crispy. Over all I will definitely be back to Qmi. I hope they start offering boba tea!

I am beyond disappointed writing this because I used to LOVE this all-you-can-eat sushi buffet. My family and I came here at least 1–2 times a week. We were regulars. Unfortunately, after what happened tonight, I will NEVER be going back.
I was served a USED, DIRTY NAPKIN inside my squid salad. Yes — an actual used napkin mixed into my food. I am currently 34 weeks pregnant, which makes this not just disgusting, but a MAJOR health and safety hazard. The risk of contamination alone is terrifying.
When I brought it to the manager’s attention, they initially only offered a 15% discount. After my husband pushed further, they increased it to 30%. I’m sorry, but serving someone contaminated food — especially a pregnant customer — warrants far more than a small percentage off. A mistake this severe should have resulted in the entire meal being comped without hesitation.
The lack of urgency and accountability was just as concerning as the incident itself. I have since reported this to the health department because no one should have to experience something like this.
Please think twice before eating here. This was not just gross — it was dangerous. DO NOT EAT HERE.

My first visit at Qmi and it was definitely an experience. The first thing I want to mention is this place will charge you if you waste your food. It’s also written on the menu Now I don’t know what’s considered wasteful at this restaurant but I ate everything I ordered fried shrimp tempura then tuna Tataki,good time rolls,titanic rolls, Eel avocado rolls, bang bang shrimp. Everything was made to order and very fresh. The saki was delicious. Highly recommended and will revisit.

Overall a pretty solid place for the AYCE sushi which was probably the best thing on the menu. Tried a few different ones and they all were pretty good. Had a few that had huge chunks of avocado which was def weird but overall majority of it was executed really well. The hibachi def isn’t the normal hibachi so use some caution there. I tried the shrimp hibachi but it was more like shrimp and broccoli Chinese food style than hibachi. The miso soup was a miss and wasn’t hot like soup at all. The service was great from the host to our waitress, had a few things we had to remind them we ordered but they got it right out and she kept our drinks full. The yummy roll was probably my favorite that I tried. I don’t know what it is but at these restaurants the steak has a weird texture to me so I didn’t eat too much of the steak fried rice but my wife liked it. I would come back for a quick sushi fix rather than driving all the way to Richmond.

This Japanese cuisine restaurant was pretty okay. It has a similar experience to Sushi King, in which you pay one rate to order as much as you want from the menu. The two main rules they have are, eat what you order or you will be charged a waste fee, and two hour maximum dine in. The food was decent; the fried calamari was a bit overcooked, and the rice was a bit too oily. The service was okay as well. Our server came to our table every once in a while to see if we’d like to order more. The atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful.

Me and a friend came to visit this restaurant yesterday because it was a new place to eat. We were excited to be at the restaurant however it turned out to be the worst experience I’ve ever had. I didn’t get a chance to eat the food try anything there. My waiter was the worst , he kept coming back every 2 minutes after stating we weren’t ready yet. My friend and i decided to get a drink and he asked for our IDs in which we gave them to him. He decided to scan our IDS so hard then look at my friends ID and stated that smears not her on the ID and he can not service her any alcohol. He then ask for my ID again. I asked for my ID back and a manager which he never went and got one. We end up leaving and going some place else. I’ve never had that happen to me before .

staff was nice. Some of the food was not great. I had some of the worst sushi at this location then iv had anywhere. Its the fry oil. Avoid the fried sushi and its amazing. All the other rolls were unique and yummy but they really ruined the meal with the bad fried rolls. Their Matcha ice cream is to die for. Overall an okay experience overall. Not worth the price IMO but it was nice to try.

This is some of the best All-you-can-eat sushi I’ve had. You can get more than sushi here, with options allowing you to get more of a “balanced” meal if that’s what you want.
A lot of All-you-can-eat places will have subpar rice for the sushi but here it’s great.
