I go to the Qdoba in puyallup often and am always satisfied. The portions are always great (usually enough for 2 meals) and the food is always fresh. I came to try out this location since I live over here, and was very disappointed. The portion was not even half of what it should be. The food was also cold. Flavor wise it’s always great. The line was also barely stocked. First image is what I was served, second image was after i had mixed it.

I went to QDOBA for dinner yesterday and ordered just over $60 worth of food.

The server helping me was clearly new and still learning. My bowls had a very thin layer of rice and barely half a scoop of chicken. He seemed nervous about portion sizes, so I am not sure if this is how he is being trained or if he was just unsure. For the price, the portions felt pretty light.

At checkout, the person at the register seemed too busy to pack my order and pointed to the bag for me to do it myself. I do not mind helping out, but the overall customer service experience felt lacking.

I am hopeful this location improves over time because it has potential. With Chipotle just down the road, this spot will need to step it up on portions and service to compete.

If you have never been to a Qdoba before, here’s your sign! They have the BEST food. This is the only location between Portland and Puyallup. In comparison, Chipotle is in the minor leagues and Qdoba is in the Olympic games

The food is really good. However they are always out of key ingredients at peak and non-peak times. I have been there 4 times since they have opened. They have been out of both rices, citrus shrimp, chicken, pico de gallo, brownie, containers, steak, and sour cream. The staff has always tried to compensate by apologizing, being extra friendly, or even adding extra servings when an item is restocked after a wait.

Ordering ahead of time is an absolute gamble I would not recommend. Because they are so frequently out of key ingredients, there is a very real chance your order will not be ready when picking up, and there will be an issue to deal with when you arrive. Asking for a refund for something you were charged for in the app will be met with blank stares, as no one seems to know how that works.

This place has big potential. If you can’t make the popular menu readily available in-store or on the app then the free guac and free queso marketing campaign is smoke & mirror.

I would love to recommend this, however amazing the staff, prices, and options are, the probability of what may or may not be available when one visits makes this a 3 out of 5 from me. It has potential but the inconsistency of availability surpasses the quality of the experience.

We put in an online order that was supposed to be ready by 5:24pm and my husband waited over an hour for our food to be ready at the store

To find out, they forgot to put queso and pico de gallo in my food. It was my first time trying Qdoba and it was def disappointing.
Neither of our bowl didn’t look like 15 dollar of worth.

I changed my review to 5, the GM called me and was awesome to talk to. I appreciate her quick response and fix to the issue.

I go to Qdoba after in Tukwila, Federal Way and the airport and the serving sizes are always good. I live in Lacey so when they opened I was pretty excited to take my son who is a Chipotle fan but hadn’t had Qdoba before. He only eats rice and chicken so when I ordered his bowl and told him we were just doing rice and chicken and that I would like a good amount of rice they told me that the first two scoops are free and then after that they have to charge. For the first two scoops were really small compared to the other qdoba’s is why I had to ask for more rice. Even the scoop of chicken was half of what the others put on. When I asked about it and talked about the other places they said well that is not how we do things here. I was just disappointed in the service and the size.
I asked if not getting any of the other toppings for my son could replace rice they said no.
I then told the manager if that was the case that I would just ask for all of the toppings on the side and the man just said that was better than putting more rice in.

The food is hands down better than chipotle! It has the flavor and they don’t charge extra for guacamole/Queso.
Also, the queso diablo is a must!

We’ve been excited to try the new Qdoba in the neighborhood, and it did not disappoint. I placed an online order and arrived about five minutes before the pickup window. While I waited, every employee who passed by checked in about my order and assured me they’d get right on it. Everyone was incredibly polite and genuinely friendly.

They did run out of steak, and the manager personally came out to apologize for the delay and let me know. At that point I was only a couple minutes into my pickup window. I quickly switched proteins without any hassle and walked out with my food just a couple minutes after the window.

The food was delicious, warm, fresh, and full of flavor. They may still be working out a few new-opening kinks, but they are already doing a fantastic job. You can tell the leadership and team culture are strong here.

We’re looking forward to coming back again soon!

Spent $15 on a meal that had barely any protein and about one scoop of rice. The portion was shockingly small for the price — even the guy taking my payment mentioned it looked kind of small.
I wasn’t about to pay another $4 just to get a normal amount of meat. At that point, it makes more sense to go to Chipotle, where the portions are actually filling for what you pay. Disappointing experience overall.

I’m so happy that a Qdoba opened up in the area! Owen was so friendly! He made sure to have the rice fresh and ready; along with being fast and efficient. I was able to redeem a free chips and queso as he encouraged me to sign up!! Def worth it! Such a nice guy and the managers were so kind. This just opened up but cleanliness was pristine, everything stocked and organized. My food was amazing!
