Another worker washes his hands and walks over and quietly and takes our order. We were never greeted.
The whole time I am still disgusted at the gentleman massaging his feet. I thought, once he is done as long as he washes his hands it should be fine.
Halfway through ordering, the guy gets up and limps over to the cashier counter AND DOESN’T WASH HIS HANDS!! I was in utter disgust and almost walked out…. I was almost about to say something to him but someone else walked in behind us and I didn’t want to embarrass the guy. I definitely should have. My husband and I watched as he handled our queso container and filled up our chips.
We then sat in the restaurant to eat. My appetite was completely gone by then.
I regret not saying something. Someone needs to teach him about food safety and common sense. Please look into getting the team ServSafe Certified.
Ordered my food thirty minutes before I arrived using the website. Estimate was five to fifteen minutes. I showed up, food wasn’t ready to go. All I wanted to know was if they even received my order, I could tell it wasn’t ready.
I politely asked the young woman at the register “excuse me can you see if you received an order for me?” and she, in a very frustrated and rude tone, said “we will get to you when we can”. I waited another ten minutes and couldn’t get anyone’s attention. I couldn’t wait any longer, my family including a toddler were waiting in my car. So I asked if they could just cancel my order. I told them it would have just been faster if I got in line when I got there instead of ordering online well ahead of time.
The young woman again got angry with me, walked over to their online order screen, flipped through all the orders in front of me and said “these are all online orders sir, there are people ahead of you”. And I said “that’s fine, just cancel my order”.
She took my name and number and said she’d “get back to me”. It was a very, very awful experience. I get being frustrated that you’re so busy, but don’t take it out on polite customers, and don’t be short with them. All I wanted originally was confirmation that my name was on a ticket, somewhere. Just some acknowledgement that I was there waiting.
I won’t be ordering here again.
