I walked in here for the first time at the recommendation of a friend of mine. Dominic took care of us and he was so, so, so welcoming and brought a vibrant energy to the visit.
He explained the menu to me since it was my first time there. They serve a whole bunch of stuff, but I went with the burrito bowl. He said they call it a burrito bowl because it comes with a tortilla with it for free (take notes Chipotle!!!). He also says you can do half and half on meats, just ask. They’d charge for the most expensive tier meat you go with, which is totally reasonable.
The price you pay for the bowl gets you EVERYTHING in the bar, including queso AND Guacamole (again, take notes Chipotle!!). In the picture here, I got a mix of birria and pork carnitas. This picture was taken AFTER I had already taken half the bowl to make my burrito. I also paid to make it a combo, so I got a chip and queso along with a Mexican coke. Chips were delicious (salty but not too much and not too thick either) and the queso super flavorful!
Definitely recommend!! I’ll be having the rest for dinner later.

Fresh food, clean restaurant and their offerings are bursting with flavor. I ordered the habanero lime steak cilantro rice bowl…. Topped with fresh salsa, street corn, lettuce and pinto beans…. Omgggggg out of this world tasty! Staff is very helpful. Their digital menu is not overwhelming. You can also have burritos, quesadillas and Mexican soda. They are conveniently located on 41 in Port Charlotte with lots of parking!

David was very kind and informative walked me through the whole ordering process, since this was my first time. The building was very clean also a good sign. Lots of options to choose from, the pickles red onions were awesome on my carnitas bowl. Chips were nothing to write home about, little to no flavor or salt. Queso was good, very thick consistency with a kick. Price wise, you get a whole meal for the price of one singular bowl at chipotle. They also have nachos as a kids meal which is cool and different, going to have to come back with the kiddos.

Just reduced my rating, their prices have gone up significantly. Their food is still good. But I can go to a small business Mexican sit down restaurant and get just as good a quality for much cheaper. My wife and I just went there and cost me $24 in person.

i order the new shrimp burrito add chicken and they were putting my shrimp on and then they stopped and put all the shrimp on a online bowl order made me wait and only had the shrimp in the marinade for 30 seconds so i couldn’t taste the lime or any presence of the shrimp and my burrito was 18.50 wow;

Use to be a trainer for Qdoba. Went in and order a burrito and tacos. Asked for a burrito. Employee didn’t ask what tortilla we needed. I spotted the woman who made the food also at the register handling cash and not switching there gloves afterwards. Also live only 10 minutes away food was cold. Portions were ridiculous. Portion of meat was less than it should be. More portions of rice and veggies. Burrito should have been a normal size but it wouldn’t even close. When getting the meat I don’t want a ladle of the chicken juice pouring out the food. Line wasn’t even up to par with being wiped down. I understand a rush but when there’s 4 people at all different times it at least should be wiped clean. It’s ashame cause I love Qdoba but at this location it’s the second time I’ve come across issues and it’s been only two times I’ve been here. Needless to say I got no desire coming back to this location again.

So happy to see a Qdoba nearby! Had a lovely experience. They just opened so we all need some patience as the employees get up to speed. Service was friendly and reasonably fast given they just opened. The food was fresh and delicious as always! Will absolutely be a regular here. Give them a little grace as they’re just gearing up. Delicious and not a bunch of add on charges for every little extra like some other fast casual burrito places.

We had a very nice experience. I’ve been holding out on trying Qdoba because I looove Chipotle. However after trying the brisket birria bowl I think I’m going to Qdoba instead. I also like that you don’t have to pay extra for any of the toppings like queso and guacamole. The price is pretty reasonable as well $12.99 for a bowl. Most places these days charge $20 for a bowl.
The man who was helping us who I believe was the manager was very friendly and brought the place a very good energy. I don’t think I’ve ever had anyone at a chipotle say anything more to me than, “black beans or pinto?”.

I have to start by saying everything was good, service was good and employee friendly. Portion size was pathetic (check attached photo of taco). The bowl, with basically same ingredients as I get a Chipotle was light as well (yes, I have been weighing the bowls). Maybe it is just growing pains. I plan to try again and will update if things change.
