I was on the hunt for a good coffee spot when Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. popped up in my search. I decided to make the drive — about 30 minutes — and I’m glad I did.

Getting there was a little tricky since Google Maps didn’t make the location very clear, so for anyone else looking: it’s on the opposite side of the Marriott (see picture). That should make it much easier to find.

Once inside, everything clicked — great service, a beautiful space, and a really solid latte. I didn’t try any of the pastries this time, but they looked amazing and are definitely on my list for next visit.

Worth the drive, and I’ll be back.

Cheers,

BN

I stopped in on a workday and instantly loved the space. There’s tons of seating, plenty of outlets, and the Wi-Fi actually works. Service was great, and everything I tried was delicious. The spinach pastry stole the show – honestly one of the best things I’ve had in a minute, and I’m definitely getting another next time.

The café has a calm vibe with a little background noise, nothing distracting. Parking in the deck is free, and there’s security because of the Blue Line, so I felt safe even with their later hours – another huge perk.

All around, just a great spot to work or unwind. I’ll absolutely be back.

I had been looking forward to trying this new pastry shop. The staff was very friendly, it’s a VERY clean restaurant, and well decorated.

However, I wasn’t really impressed by the pastries, they were just okay to me. The garlic bread was good, the almond pastry was a little dry although it had some sort of light filling inside, the biscoff cheesecake needed more biscoff (maybe on top) to really catch the flavor it.

The cold coffees and warm lattes were good, but not the best that I’ve had.

Not sure if I’d return because I was expecting a wow factor for the desserts.

Free parking in the parking garage that’s super easy to access. When you walk in it’s immediately obvious that the owners and employee keep this place clean. It’s warm, bright and welcoming. Unfortunately my pup couldn’t go inside, but he was pretty happy greeting everyone as they came and went.

I ordered some their spinach and feta danish and it was perfect temperature, texture and flavor. I also went with their Iced Quamaria Latte. I absolutely love the flavor of the cardamom (citrus/lemon flavor) forward flavor with the bits of caramel and cinnamon trickling in. I personally would probably add another shot of espresso because I found it to be on the sweeter side.

We are visiting Charlotte for the next 24 hours and I’m already looking forward to making the trek back here tomorrow.

Adeni Tea, I think is what I had, very delicious! It’s so cold out, wasn’t in the mood for coffee, so this hit the spot! Hot tea, milk & alittle sugar. Haven’t had it this good since my last visit to the UK. Very relaxed, & chill vibe with Arabic or Middle Eastern music playing. Definitely will return to try more!

I ordered the iced strawberry matcha which I thought was seasonal but ended up being available 🙂 The strawberry paired well with the matcha and wasn’t too sweet.
I also had the rose milk cake and the marble loaf. The rose milk cake is pretty good in flavor and not overly sweet; you can also taste the rose flavor of the cake ! The marble loaf is also good if you really like chocolate like me. Just the overall vibe of the place was very comfy and aesthetic

My Yemeni friend recommended this café to me and I couldn’t be more grateful. I tried the Iced Qamaria latte with oat milk and Sabaya. So delicious and such high quality that I bought some coffee grounds as gifts for family in town! Service was warm and excellent.

Great space for working and hanging out; there’s even a conference room. Seating is comfy with tons of outlets and the decor is beautiful! Nice lighting and music.

Two gender-neutral, single-stall bathrooms that are accessible and accommodating for families and people with mobility aids. Can’t wait to bring friends here!

This was our first time visiting Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co., and it did not disappoint! My mom, sister, and I meet once a month in the Charlotte area for coffee, and this spot might just become our new favorite.

We tried the spinach feta pastry, Dubai chocolate brownie, pistachio milk cake, pistachio latte, and the salted caramel Frappéccino. Everything was absolutely delicious—my favorite was the brownie! The place is super clean, comfortable, and has such a welcoming vibe.

We will definitely be making this our new monthly meet-up spot! Oh and the guys working there are hot.

I had a great experience at Qamaria Coffee. The atmosphere is really cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax or study. The coffee tastes amazing and you can tell it’s high quality. I tried the pistachio latte and it was one of the best drinks I’ve had — perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. The staff were friendly and the service was quick even though the shop was busy. I also loved the unique Yemeni coffee options that you can’t really find at most coffee shops. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee spot.

We are so thrilled that Qamaria opened! The decor is stunning, but what sets it apart from the rest of the other coffee shops is the warmth and kindness you encounter here. They treat you like family the moment you enter the coffee shop. Mustafa took wonderful care of us and spoiled our kids. We loved everything we ordered – the zaatar, bee bites, almond croissants, and macarons were delicious! The Adani Chai was authentic – lovely and just the right sweetness. Please support this coffee shop and ask for Mustafa- 10/10!
