Has a wide range of Asian food, and a couple items of the American cuisine variety.
The hot tea was delicious, hostess, and wait staff was friendly.
Definitely would recommend, and plan on eating here again.

Food is good but not exciting. The buffet items seem to never change, it’s the same each time I have eaten here. The booths, chairs, and carpeting all needed replaced in the 80’s. Since this is the only Chinese buffet in town, I believe is the reason it’s still in business.

It’s getting old, the seats are worn, the floors are worn, the fountain doesn’t run, but the place is clean and the food is good. It now costs almost $20/ person.

Awesome as always took my kids out for lunch food was great fresh store was clean service was awesome Annie runs a great restaurant and crew. We had the Buffet for lunch it’s $28 for 2 adults and $6.00 one kid not to bad on a great meal

We’ve eaten at this particular restraunt for over 10 years, and the food quality is not what it used to be! The prices are significantly higher than other similar style buffets in Effingham. Also, if you eat at around 2 p.m., it’s DINNER pricing with selections that haven’t been refilled and are lacking. Even the sushi was questionable, as it wasn’t chilled any longer. Poor timing or not?
As to the atmosphere, it’s time for an update of the dining area, too. I’m pretty sure that all of the seating and flooring is the same as it was when they opened. The booth seats are cracked; be sure to get a table, especially if you’re wearing shorts or a skirt.
The guy who cleared away our dishes was polite without being intrusive and was the best part of our dining experience.
We will go elsewhere in town for different food (Thai Noodle) or drive south to Effingham if we want a Chinese buffet. If you’ve not been to either of these, go give them a try!

I rate it 3 stars because I once came and grabbed a to go box (mind you it costs more than the actual AYCE diner) and grabbed 8-13 frog legs and oh there’s now a limit and according to them “it’s a to go box not a mountain” don’t judge me infront of everyone, I’m not even a big person I’m a skinny dude and they felt the need to say it’s a to go box not a mountain, clearly they care a lot a about food rations, it’s not my fault I enjoy their frog legs have not came back since. Horrible service and they talk in mandarin or in their native language when you’re doing something wrong because all workers were talking in another language before approaching me, and no they don’t let you bring a bag to tighten your to go box so clearly my to go box was a not a mountain it was more of them being greedy with rations, and greedy by giving a 6×6 to go box for the price of almost $20, I’m sure they don’t act this way if you sit down however, and so that’s why I give 3 stars. The service isn’t the best but the food and atmosphere are amazing have been here other times in their all you can eat and no complaints about portion sizes I don’t know why they care so much about to go which is more expensive.
