Had the Family picnic package. The meats were cooked perfectly and the beans reminded me of my grandma’s “3 bean hotdish”. I didn’t really care for the espresso bbq sauce, but the food is so good, you don’t need sauce.

This is a Guy Fieri Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives restaurant. Deservingly so. They fully embrace that here as well. I drove an hour to get here, and I would do it again. I ordered the Deluxe Sampler and it was a good choice on my part. All I know is this restaurant needs to put a drive-thru on it. Everybody orders ahead and picks it up to go. I’m a regular customer, and I brought my family into the restaurant for the first time. The owner was rude to my dad. I was very embarrassed. We went in asking questions, and he was not having it. It felt like he was insulting me with sarcastic rude responses. I spent over $150 dollars to get bad service. If I was not buying food for my family I would have walk out immediately. The cashier lady was amazing very nice and friendly. He is lucky to have her around. Without her he would be in trouble. Not the experience you would expect to keep your regular customers. 🙁

This establishment has been revered in one of my social circles for years. I had been, maybe once or twice in the before times, but it had now been years.
I am pleased that this place has managed to endure. Their meats are even better than I recalled. The salted pork (bacon) was particularly good. Portion sizes were good. I am a larger person and struggled to finish, so some folks could probably split what I had and be fine; or have left overs.
Presently they have a handful of sauces, all good. I remember long ago maybe there were some other options. I probably got the most milage from the mustard sauce and the honey sauce. Different sauces paired with the different meats better than the others so it was nice that my meal came with a few different kinds.

Absolutely amazing pulled chicken! It was delicious without any sauce. The sides were excellent. We had the two pound sampler and we enjoyed it all. Great cornbread too!

Used to go here a lot and got some very good food. Now the prices have just gotten outrageous. The owner here is absolutely awful to be around. He simply should not be around any of customers. The two ladies that work there are the exception. They are very nice and always help with my order.

We have been told wonderful things and I think if you like Kansas city style you will love this. The quality was outstanding. We just didn’t care for the flavors. I felt the pork was a bit greasy, and none of the sauces worked for me. The mac and cheese was really good, as well as potato wedges. The corn fritters needed salt and some honey butter dip. As a family, we have decided the vinegar base sauces are not for us, but don’t let that discourage you from trying this place. Service and suggestions from staff were great, they let us try all the sauces. Oh the brisket was really good, soft and mosit so I would recommend that for sure.

First time in today, this is one of the top bbq places I’ve tried. Smoke is just right on everything. The brisket was super delicious!! Spare ribs are for lack of a better term fudgy in the best possible way! Grilled slab bacon was super rich!! You can also tell they put the effort in on the sides. Honesty very good. I’d honestly say the best bbq in the tri state area!! So glad I stopped in today I almost just drove home. 2 naps later and every time I wake up again I’m in the fridge picking away. Sauces are good to but not needed! I’d keep this to myself but it’s too good not to share! Really great job! It’s so hard to get it all right. Thank you for such a memorable meal!!

Super friendly, cool atmosphere, dine in or take out. Went there for the first time and they have so many dipping sauces, vinegar sauces for sandwiches, and a broad menu. I got the Philly Q and went back to get a second one to bring to work the next day. Their food is amazing and their customer service is spectacular. Order my food and it was done in 10 minutes!!! Very fast.
