If you haven’t been to The Q Bar and Grill on 10th ave and Rose Garden, you need to go! It’s a great local favorite and I’m sure you’ll like it as well. This place can get very busy for lunch and dinner, so the best time to go is between 1:30 to 4pm. I went for “Friday Fish Fry all u can eat”…The Fish was Cod, large portions and it’s very lightly breaded. The fries are cut from real potatoes, fresh. Also comes with yummy Cole Slaw. Dipping sauces are excellent as well. (See my photos). The background music playing during my visit was a little blues, southern rock, indie rock, and country and lots of TV’s throughout the place with sports on. I was fortunate enough to have met the owner Chuck more than 20 years ago, great man!! Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago and now his daughter Julie is at the helm and doing a great job; Chuck would be proud. My server was Tiffany, excellent wait person!! She was covering quite a few tables but managed it well. My 1st order was about 5 pcs of fish with plenty of fries and cole slaw. My 2nd reorder was 3 pcs of fish and 3rd reorder 3 pcs of fish; all were large portions of quality fish. I’m full, and happy from a great experience eating at The Q!! I’ll be back!!

Visited Q Bar and Grill recently with friends and had a mixed experience. We ordered fish and chips, loaded nachos, Philly steak sandwich, along with Moscow mule, beers, and a Long Island.
The drinks and loaded nachos were the highlight – flavorful and nicely presented. However, the Philly steak sandwich was served cold, which was disappointing, and the fish and chips were overcooked and very dry, lacking the flaky texture we expected.
Despite the food inconsistencies, the service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.
Would consider coming back for drinks and appetizers, but hope the kitchen improves consistency on main dishes.

Best Cobb salad I’ve ever had. So fresh and delicious and huge.
Partner had club sandwich which he said was awesome.

We hadn’t been here in quite a while. We were pleasantly surprised. They had new, comfortable booths and the restaurant had a much cleaner appearance. We went with friends fir dinner & drinks. Our waiter was outstanding and the food was delicious! We plan to return more often.

We went in for the Fish Fry on a Friday. The food was great, we got the cowboy corn bites, fish fry, mac and cheese burger and a piece of carrot cake to go. Highly recommend the fish and the burger, the corn bites were perfect in spice and flavor and the piece of cake was massive and delicious. The only think lack luster was the fries, they arent bad just nothing really to them. The location is dark and more on the bar side for atmosphere and theres nothing wrong with that. Service was good and she was booking it all over trying to keep up with the fish fry orders. She was friendly and quick. It was a good experience and I do see us coming back.

Great cozy dive bar. There’s some taxidermy around the walls and everything has a nice wood finish. The food is amazing and the staff is even better! Alanna is an amazing bartender and waitress that makes us feel extremely welcome and is never short on amazing recommendations for us if we need it. They have a great trivia night on Wednesdays that attract some great people that we’ve been able to make friends with along the way!

Great little neighborhood bar and grill with friendly staff and good food. Nice menu with a good selection of appetizers, burgers , salads, and seafood . The portions and prices are reasonable. The beer is inexpensive. The atmosphere is dark and is a little bit divey. They also have a patio, daily food, and drink specials. Currently, there is a Groupon available to save 40-50 % off and good for food and drinks.

Hamburgers are big but a little over done. Still very good. I liked the BBQ sauce and the onion rings were huge. Good food but if you want a quick lunch, this is not the place. Make sure you have extra time on your hands. Only one waitress, and she was also working the bar and just the one cook. That’s it. We were able to talk, not noisy so that was a plus. Definitely a place for friends to catch up and killing some time.
