Also had a 730pm mariachi show which was incredible, the band had great stage presence and interacted well with the audience.
I have no complaints on the quality of food only the quantity which anyone can understand that with such a packed restaurant it wasn’t long before a certain menu item was gone and you have to wait on the next serving to come out.
Lastly, if you expect to come in with a similar size group expect to pay up to and around $1000.
But overall the experience was a 5 stars.
As I looked through the small menu to figure out what I wanted to order, we received our chips and salsa as well as some freshly made guacamole that we ordered. When I say this guac was addicting, I mean it. My friend, his brother, and I absolutely devoured it so quickly. For entrees, I settled on the enchiladas with mole sauce since I was told the mole was delicious. I also ordered an horchata since I saw everyone else getting one.
While waiting for our meal, I was thoroughly entertained by the live mariachi band as well as the other small group of singers who swapped back and forth with the band. Every half hour or so, there would be an announcer who went around asking what every family is celebrating and give them a shoutout.
When the food arrived, I was surprised by how large the portion was. Granted the prices are steep for all the items but I wasn’t expecting to receive so much food. The chicken within the enchiladas were prepared well, it was both tasty and I enjoyed the mole sauce. I also really liked the rice but I wish there was more of that. As for the horchata, that was gone in minutes, it was perfectly balanced, not too sweet or milky. Overall, I loved the atmosphere and energy of this place, the live music was my personal favorite part of the restaurant as well as that guac. The only downside is the prices so I would definitely save this place for special occasions.
We gave them short notice, but they were still able to accommodate our wedding party.
We made our wedding reception at 3:30 p.m. on a Friday, and it felt as if we booked the whole restaurant for ourselves, which was perfect.
The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season too, which was a nice touch. I jokingly told all of our guests that we paid for all the decorations, which was not the case.
Everybody loved the great food and excellent customer service.
We will definitely be coming back for future occasions. A++
