The POB is…well it’s a hole in the wall. That’s not necessarily bad. Not at all. It just means that it’s a small building off the highway and if you blink, you’ll miss it. The atmosphere is great. The staff are attentive, and if you enjoy billiards, the tables are in excellent shape and can be rather busy on a Friday or Saturday night. Sometimes, it’s quiet, like on a Saturday when Earl isn’t hosting. You can simply drink and listen to the jukebox. Step in some time.

Just moved down from NC. Visited POB last night. I was greeted by the owner, his son and the bartender which all were friendly and made me feel right at home. The food was good, the beer was cold, and the atmosphere is one of a small home town bar. I really enjoyed my time there and will be back. Thanks for a great time.

All around great bar definitely one of my favorites if I go out I’ve been going there for years all the staff are great people and the bartender Tommy is one of the coolest bartenders you’ll ever run into !!!! I’ve never walked out of there and had a complaint about anything anybody that doesn’t like this bar or Tommy and his dad needs to go somewhere else and get their head examined LMAO

Note: I edit this review every day that I’m here… Scroll down. 19 MAR 2019 – They don’t have any draft or IPA beer. They just have Coors Light, Miller Lite, Bud Light, and Corona. They do have several common liquors(Jack Daniels, Jim Bean, Captain Morgan, some vodka with a red label). They have red bull to make a YagerBomb. They do carry Patron tequila. If they have anything else, I didn’t see it or ask for it. They said they have karaoke on Saturday nights from 8pm until close. They have several pool tables and darts. They have golf video game. They also have a few slot playing games. They have a jutebox that takes cash, but it’s not touchtunes. It’s AMI and you can download the app from the Google play store. Country Music seems to be what the majority wants, but I’d rather listen to anything else. On 20 of March the Coors Light beer in a bottle was going for $2.50. YagerBomb was $7.00. Not sure about other stuff. Has only a one man restroom and a woman’s restroom (not sure how many). They allow indoor smoking. The stage area is pretty big for the size of this place. If the music box runs out of music from people who put credits in… The whole place gets silent. Bob needs you to yell at him as his hearing is seriously bad. If you have a speech issue, then your best to find another bar or show him pictures off of your phone of what you want…else you’ll get the many complaints to why he can’t hear you… They guy is very nice and friendly, it’s just very fustrating ordering from him when you must find a way for him to understand you that doesn’t require speech. BTW, didn’t see anyone eating oysters. It really sucks if I have to learn country music in order to do Karaoke! 21 MAR 2019 – They have allowed the music box to play other music rather than country music! +1 star! This Thursday night is much better than Wednesday night. Keep it up! 22 MAR 2019 – Found they serve pizza, French fries, and chicken tenders… Haven’t seen anything else yet. 24 MAR 2019 – Karaoke singers you’ll need to hear from the regulars. They beat the singers from Florida. A couple of them sing and belt out the songs in almost perfect pitch. Mostly country, but won’t down other songs.
