Absolutely worth it for the food. Generous portions, delicious food. I went for “evil” options both times (I am informed that the “evil” is that the grilled cheeses with mac & cheese are double carb [bread and pasta] therefore evil).
Lyle might be the nicest and most interesting guy on the planet. I was not prepared while waiting in line to hear “yeah, so my friend called me, and asked if I had a spider that was friendly enough to be on [celebrity’s] shoulder”, and then get see a picture of said large hairy spider.
You’ll wait a few minutes for your food. In turn, you’ll chat nonstop with a really nice guy who will prepare your food with love and give you some food for thought.

Came today ( last customers) with my son and hubbie Hubbie is a city man so his pallet knows gooood tasting food! He comes here every time he’s in the area. Hands down the best grilled cheese sandwiches ! I order a buffalo! Delicious! Lyle is super cool and funny! Had my kid laughing. Also packed us a bonus ! Super kind Thank you ! Will definitely grab lunch when I’m in the area tooo!

Lyle is the best! So friendly, kind and we had a lovely conversation. I got an Evil version of the Oyster grilled cheese so it came with Mac and cheese inside – it was so decadent and good. My friend was deciding between two sandwiches and he ended up surprising her with the second sandwich later for free! This is a must visit.

Cannot say enough good things about Lyle and his ability to create magic in each bite you take. His food is truly made with love! Thank you, Lyle, for always making our day better! I appreciate you and your food! My favorite: Brie with fig and green apples that come with crispy chips. I always get tomato soup. I cannot say I have a least favorite. Everything just tastes good.

Ate here for the first time today. It was such an amazing experience! Lyle was incredibly kind. The food was beyond impressive. We ordered the chili grilled cheese and the fire 1/2 and 1/2. We waited awhile but every minute was worth it. He has earned himself a new set of regulars. Thank you!!
