A huge thank you to Push Brewing Company here in Lander, Wyoming for hosting the 250th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps.
This celebration was made possible entirely because of the generosity and selflessness of the owner and his wife. On what was supposed to be their closed night, they opened their doors solely for the local Marines and veterans, provided the location, and supplied the drinks for everyone who attended. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it speaks volumes about their character and their respect for the veteran community.
Their graciousness created an atmosphere of camaraderie, pride, and tradition that made the 250th Marine Corps Birthday a complete success. Every Marine who walked through those doors felt welcomed and honored because of the kindness and support shown by these two incredible people.
Push Brewing Company went above and beyond, and the Marines of Fremont County are deeply grateful for everything they did to make this birthday one we will never forget.

We had a wonderful Saturday afternoon at Pushroot. The Oaxacan Green Corn Lager was one of the better beers I’ve ever had, and the atmosphere with the patio and beer-hall style tables inside rocks.

Gf and I decided to stop by after a bike ride and really enjoyed the Helles, one with a mango shot and the other a lemonade. Great touch for a summer drink

Awesome atmosphere, a great hang. Beer is great and a good amount of options. The new Beer garden and band venue out back looks awesome, they are just finishing it up!

Great beer, atmosphere, and staff- there are often food trucks outside, and/or I grab food from the nearby Mexican restaurant.

Exactly what Lander has been needing! Pushroot serves up a variety of their own absolutely delicious beers, and always has neat guest taps to check out, too. Plus they have a super tasty and refreshing hop water for anyone who doesn’t want alcohol. Tasty brews and friendly service aside, Pushroot also hosts all kinds of fun special events (from trivia to wildlife conservation talks) and they mutually support other local small businesses by inviting a mix of food trucks every week. Really good people slinging really good drinks and doing really good community-building stuff— I’m so glad we have Pushroot here!

In town for the Lander Brewfest and was excited to see that Pushroot was finally open! The majority of beer offerings are of the lager style and are simply top-notch in quality and execution. Extremely clean fermentation, well made recipes, I was simply in heaven while quaffing mugs of Helles and Pilsner and everything else Matt had to offer!! Such a treat and a hidden gem. AND, to add to this, the pizza food truck parked outside makes some pretty darn tasty pies! The most direct and precise description of Pushroot is that this is a DESTINATION BREWERY!!! If you’re on your way to the Tetons, this is a must stop. If you’re a local, I’m assuming you’re already in the know. Top notch beer, super friendly service, a gem to be experienced in Lander!!! Great job
