The new restaurant from the people who have the ‘Butterhead’ food truck (one of the best) takes their skill and style to a new level. We shared an appetizer that was seriously good. Fresh-made labneh, with pickled root veg, sourdough toasts, and a poached egg was a delicious and really well thought out and executed way to start. I had a roasted pork belly special and she had a Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Food was on point. Service was excellent. Good music with a mix of genres set a mood with the interesting and eclectic art and decor.

Was ecstatic to see a new restaurant in town. After checking out the menu online I turned up the next day. My Banh Mi was refreshing, and delicious. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. Great place for a quick bite or a relaxed lunch/dinner with friends. It is a perfect addition to our downtown Wakefield strip.

I recently visited the new restaurant in Wakefield and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the atmosphere. The smash burger was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. The lobster roll was also a hit – incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced with the buttery roll. My little ones also throughout enjoyed their meals!

Ate here for the first time recently as was so impressed! I loved everything about it! Great vibe, great music, great service and the most impressive by far was the food – we had a crudo appetizer that I cannot stop dreaming about and lobster rolls that were sublime – the perfect bun, grilled to perfection with fresh, delicious lobster that wasn’t overdressed, and with the delightful finish of Aleppo pepper. I will definitely be back soon!

Had a killer lunch at purslane. We had the chicken sandwich, fries and the pork belly special. The Sandwich was juicy, crispy and the b&b pickles accompanied by the buttery bun made for the perfect bite. What really blew us away was the special. The pork was perfectly tender and the flavors were beautifully balanced. The dish itself was absolutely stunning as well.

Happened upon this lovely spot with my wife on a rainy Sunday evening. We loved the vibe and decided to stop and have a snack and a beverage. The food, the atmosphere and the service were all impeccable. You get the feeling that you are in a backstreet cafe somewhere in Europe. Absolutely wonderful. We’ll be back for sure.

Unfortunately, with multiple open tables, available outdoor seating and no queue to wait, I was not allowed outdoor seating because “the 4 top is saved for a larger party” meanwhile a party of two is seated directly behind at a 4 top. After sitting inside and sweating while waiting for our server who sat us without a word or greeting, we left. Unfortunately, again, the food looked delicious. Poor representation with servers lacking common sense or equity leaves two customers less.

Welcome to the neighborhood! Excellent addition and option to Wakefield…went mid week on a whim and was glad we did! Fan’s of Butterhead Geub anyway, so smashburgers are always awesome…also had stuffies ( excellent and that’s from a born and bred RI’er) local RI brew and a great custard desert served with side of Brickley’s ice cream. Loved the chill vibe of the place, good drink choices, food and value spot on and service was awesome. Nice staff and love the local food sources…patronize this local small biz…you’ll be glad you did!
