Small menu but great flavor. I had salmon a few evenings after our visit to Purple Sage at a high-end steakhouse and Purple Sage was better at 1/2 the price.

My mom and I had a late lunch yesterday at the Purple Sage, and we had a fantastic experience!
We both had their Sweet Soy Salmon, served with yellow rice, veggies and lemon for flavor. The salmon was nicely seared with a lovely flaky texture. The rice, albeit a little too salty for my preference, complements the salmon and the portion is appropriate (we used the lemon wedge to counter the saltiness and it tasted even better!). Vegetables were also yum and provided good balance to the meal. This was an absolutely delicious, well-rounded dish and we will definitely return again to try their other dishes.
I’d also like to mention that the staff have been exceptionally kind and hospitable to us! We appreciated them checking in and the light conversation that created such a welcoming and inviting environment.
We highly recommend visiting the Purple Sage restaurant – for their tasty and healthy meals (they offer vegetarian dishes too!), the cool and family-friendly space, and the incredible staff.
I wish I had pictures to share of the interior! Just trust when I say you’ll like it. Also, their breakfast buffet is affordable and has tons of variety. Good coffee, too!

We had a fantastic dining experience at Purple Sage Restaurant, located inside the Holiday Inn Resort. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a surprisingly upscale and inviting atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally warm and attentive, and I was blown away by their spicy chicken bacon ranch sandwich—perfectly prepared and packed with flavor. The presentation was excellent. Whether you’re a resort guest or a local, Purple Sage offers an exceptional experience that far exceeds expectations for a hotel restaurant. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! Highly recommended!

Giving everything a one star because I couldn’t ever try it had plans to go for dinner their I checked the website and the google listing they all say it’s open arrived an hour and half before closing time went inside and the restraunt was closed on a sign they had at the front said the hours and their specials apparently they closed at 2 but nothing was changed online or the website to let people know they we not going to be open till the time they are “supposed to be “ it was a waste of time

When entering the resort, you are greeted by wonderful local pictures of Gold Butte National Monument. Our waitress was fabulous and food was fresh and delicious. I had the southwest salad and my friend had the Cesar with grilled chicken. Fries were excellent also. A great new gem!
