Found this place looking for an açaí bowl on google and was surprised to see the rest of the options on their menu. Gave it a try and it blew every expectation. Kathy welcomed us enthusiastically and walked us through the menu. We got the açaí and per her recommendations also added a Domes burger, an Alcapurria and Papas Chatarras…everything was DELICIOUS!
Overall it was a pleasant experience and a great choice for vegetarians.
As a Rican, I give this spot a 10/10 and will definitely be coming back.

This place is awesome! The food is so good and came out fresh and hot! We’ve tried the acai cups, piña colada smoothies, Selvo burger, “beef” empanada, tostones, maduros, and sarullos. Everything tasted great!

Really good Acai bowls and in a novel setting in a little park serving from an air stream trailer.
We love the Los Tubos and crashboat both had amazing fruit and Acai with some really good toppings that were fresh and flavorful and certainly worth the trek to find one of these outlets we also had the Chatarra Fries which had fresh Cilantro and American Chess and impossible meat crumble on top of the crispy fries and Cilantro Aioli.

Omg I had to come back and add a picture and talk about the taste of my survivor bowl. Amazing, I took it to go but I am in the parking lot with my taste buds happy I stopped here. I am allergic to blueberries so I didnt get in bowl but it comes in it. This is the best acai bowl I ever had. Definitely will be back.

The food was amazing! The tostones were super tasty and crispy, and the açaí bowl was so fresh and full of flavor. Ashley took care of us and she was awesome — really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely coming back!

My friends and I had a great meal at Purple Ocean. Just a heads-up, despite the name, they don’t serve seafood, but what they do serve is fantastic! The food was incredibly flavorful, and I especially loved their açai bowl and the refreshing coconut lemonade. The guava sauce is a must-try; it’s amazing for dipping with the burger and other items. The location is outdoors, so be sure to check the weather. A wonderful place for a delicious meal!

My husband and I visited Purple Ocean Superfood on Primrose Drive on the evening of October 27, 2025, because we wanted something healthy for dinner. We ordered two bowls, one açaí and one pitaya.
While eating my bowl, I felt something unusually hard with sharp ends. At first, I thought it might be a piece of granola, but as I chewed carefully, it felt completely different. I spit it out, cleaned it off, and was shocked to see it was a staple.
I was confused, and honestly disturbed, about how a staple could end up in my food. My husband suggested it might be due to a lack of attention to keeping office supplies away from the food prep area, especially since there were about four people working in the small food truck. I also noticed that the bag my bowl came in was stapled closed with several staples, which makes me wonder why that’s even necessary for a food order.
Thankfully, I’m a slow and careful eater, especially now that I’m pregnant, or I could have easily swallowed it or injured my mouth. This was a really disappointing and unsettling experience, and I hope the owners take this seriously to prevent it from happening again. My husband called and emailed them the same day but they didn’t respond. I’m sharing this so others are aware and so the business can improve their safety practices.
