The Purple Café and Wine Bar offers a delightful dining experience that marries a sophisticated wine selection with a diverse menu. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between casual and upscale, making it suitable for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings.

The wine list is impressive, featuring a vast array of options from around the world, with knowledgeable staff ready to recommend the perfect pairing for your meal. The food menu celebrates seasonal ingredients, with standout dishes like their truffle mac and cheese and a delicious selection of artisan pizzas and pastas.

Service is generally attentive, though it can get busy during peak hours, which may result in a bit of a wait. However, the overall atmosphere and quality of food and drink make it worth it. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a cozy spot to relax with friends, the Purple Café and Wine Bar is a fantastic choice.

Vibes!! Loved the wine staircase – beautiful! Great menu – lots of options. Brie appetizers was delicious. Tofu sandwich didn’t have the flavor the menu describes, but overall great food.

Big impressive space and an excellent wine menu. Loved the food too.

The space is very open and social and (perhaps a bit of a heads up) it is very loud – if crowded you’ll only be able to talk to those nearest you.
That said… the service was amazing. They never skipped a beat.
The interior is beautifully lit and everyone looks good hah… or maybe that’s just the amazing wine speaking.
I had fun.
Nice smoky steelhead trout and Caesar salad. Would be back for the steelhead for sure.

Purple Café is a great place to visit mainly for the atmosphere and overall vibe. The ambiance is beautiful, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed evening or a casual date, and the energy of the place really stands out. The food is okay — nothing mind-blowing, but decent and well presented — and the pricing is very reasonable for the experience and location. As a vegetarian, the options feel a bit limited, which is something to keep in mind when choosing what to order. That said, the vibe, service, and setting make up for it, and it’s a spot I’d recommend more for the experience than the food itself. If you’re looking for a place with a great atmosphere and a laid-back yet classy feel, Purple Café definitely delivers.

Everything was great, literally!! We got Spicy Prawn Frites, Baked Brie, Cranberry Chicken Salad, Braised Short Rib Pappardelle, and Sweet Corn & Chanterelle Risotto. We ended up taking half of them out coz the portion was huge, but even reheating was as delicious !! Would definetly recommend!

I absolutely ADORE purple.

My first visit was in 2012 and anytime I am in Seattle I go!

The ambiance is perfection, the service is knowledgeable and attentive, the food is SO FRICKEN GOOD and the wine list will blow your mind! I particularly live the duo and trio flight options they have!

Must go when visiting seattle.

Purple is a long time favourite of mine. Always servicing delicious and fresh takes on classic dishes with beautiful plating service. Staff are highly trained, working together to offer an exceptional experience. The atmosphere and decor with the beautiful wine tower never stops impressing. Window tables are a favourite to watch the city move by as you sip wine, cocktails and some nice beers. Will always come back.

Sommelier was great, he recommend a delicious poully fumé which was amazing. disappointed that there was no Vinho Verde in the Portugal section. I ordered a turkey provolone and arugula and manchego salad (lunch combo). It was good, didn’t realize the sandwich had bacon on it . Large portions.

Came here with my wife while staying at a nearby hotel.

I can say this is an ideal date night type of place. It’s got the right design and menu for a night out with someone special.

We just came in for some late drinks and an appetizer. Can vouch for the baked brie and crackers.

We ordered an Irish coffee and the Fifth Element cocktail. They were both made well and the alcohol was evenly mixed into the drink.
