The spicy Italian sandwich really hit the spot. Photo only shows half cuz I devoured the other half before taking a picture. Big on flavor, definitely did NOT skimp on the meat, and was made to order. The deli has an inviting dining room, huge salad bar, big menu, and lots of daily specials. Will definitely go back.

This was the first time I ever ordered from somewhere that the person over the phone did not instantly rush me. The gentleman over the phone was super personable and gave wonderful suggestions such as their stuff Pizza which is Delicious by the way. I will easily dump so much money here it’s not even funny but very worth it.

Went with a large group for a Christmas party and so the food was served buffet style. There were a variety of appetizers including their mozzarella sticks, buffalo dip, pizza, loaded cheese fries and more. All of the apps were so good, it was difficult to force yourself to leave room for the main course. The main course(s) were a meaty lasagna, penne pasta in a vodka tomato sauce, meatballs in marinara, breaded chicken patties, and several varieties of pizza. All of the food was cooked perfectly and served hot. Speaking of service, the staff is great and the owner is happy to discuss their take home products and answer any questions. Kudos to Purola’s Harbor Deli!

I had a decent sub a couple weeks ago so i went back. I tried the chicken parm with rigs. Absolutely sucked! Overcooked deepfried chicken and dry pasta. Had to use a sharp knife to cut the chicken instead of a fork. Then I could barely chew it. Somebody needs to learn how to cook!

I decided to have purolas cater my daughter’s wedding, even though they didn’t make me feel very confident about it, and it was a big mistake. When they finally arrived, late, (we had to rearrange several things in the reception in order to accommodate the food arriving late) the penne had little to no sauce. There was a pan of “pepperoni rolls” missing……be aware….the trays of pepperoni rolls are actually just SLICES of pepperoni rolls. Most guests were very disappointed in the quality of the food. When I went in to complain the following Monday morning, I was just given an excuse for everything I had issues with. No apology and no resolution. I would think twice about having them cater your large event. Very disappointed

Our first time here, Jessica helped with suggestions and was very attentive to us and other patrons! We just made it (before 6) for the 1/2 price appetizers, we had fried cheese, pizza and salad! We will be back!

We had a huge party, but the one waitress and staff did such a great job. The large pizza was huge. I loved my Cobb salad with balsamic vinegrette. Right off 531 and a nice size parking lot. Very clean and wide open floor plan. Except for the area that, where they put our group. They have a half wall and the large table and bench wall seat, locked many into position. And everything handed to us over our heads to set the food on elevated wire racks. So if this bothers you request they arrange the tables in center area for a group. See photos. Restrooms are off to a wide side hall, away from all the hustle. There is a beautiful wall mural that greets you as you enter. A scene of the Ashtabula Maritime area and Lake Erie.

My family and I are very disappointed with the quality of this pizza. We bought a family meal and were even early to pick it up and waited 10 extra minutes for it too be ready and when we opened up the box it seemed the pizza had been sitting there for hours. Very hard and very cold.
It was supposed to be a Brooklyn style pizza as well .
Very surprised to have this experience at a restaurant we believed served high quality food.
When I called the owner they made you feel like there’s no possible way that you this could happen and did nothing to resolve the issue.
