The restaurant was sold! Drastically reversal in food quality and service. Should have realized it had changed hands when arriving at lunch hour there wasn’t a soul in the place.
What a great find. Run by only a husband and wife who run this small place which is always busy with repeat lunch crowd. I’ve visited twice going miles from my home for the most authentic Cuban home cook plates. The presentation of the food is plated like a top tier restaurant. The flan is not to be missed!

It’s a family business, serving Cuban food, with a welcoming vibe. The host is warm and kind, she has that abuela energy and we are up for it. She communicated with us in English and explained the menu patiently. She gave us the guava pastry, on the house, it was not on the menu, some of her friends brought it for her and she shared it with us. So nice of her! The food items we tried were tasty and were presented nicely. You should definitely check this place out if you’re around.

This place is my absolute favorite!!! I walked in one day to grab a quick bite and have been coming back ever since! The people are delightful, super friendly and welcoming, makes you feel like you’re visiting family. If the atmosphere doesn’t keep you coming back the food will! It is so delicious!!! The chef deserves all the praise in the world, the quality and taste was better then I could have imagined. This is the best Cuban food I’ve had in Miami, hands down.
Every dish is not only incredibly flavorful but presented beautifully. Anything you pick will probably be outstanding.
Do note it’s a small place and nothing fancy. However, it’s my cozy place of choice to read a book while enjoying a great meal or sharing thoughts with dad.
I’ve heard customers in nearby tables compliment the food as well so, not biased.
If you’re looking to Cuban food, go try it! You won’t be disappointed!

We have been to this family run restaurant several times and every time we are there we enjoy excellent food and service. All dishes are prepared as if you are eating in a much more expensive place. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy great Cuban food!!!

My husband is Cuban and grew up in Miami but we live in NC. Whenever we come to south Florida, he has to get as much Cuban food as he can. The food here was “divine” (his word, and he’s not given to exaggeration). The flavors were fantastic, everything was made fresh, portions were huge, and prices were great. The service was absolutely fantastic. This place is a gem!
