Excellent Cole slaw – not sweet. Turkey sandwich was good. Baguette could be improved. I was looking for a nice crusty baguette, this was more like a plain roll. I was happy to see the soy milk option for cream, but the coffee was cold after adding it. Service was friendly & efficient.

Foods awesome I usually get the Chihuahua. Service can be slow even when it’s not crowded but the food is worth the wait. Hardly ever crowded. One of my favorite restaurants ever.

I was in the area for an appointment and got hungry so I went looking s d found PureBreads Deli. It is so cute and comfortable . The staff were very helpful regarding food allergy questions. Whuke i was there an okder gentleman came in and rhe greetes him by his name and said you want your normal….. They care about their customers. They have a contest to design a magnetic for them. You should check it out whether you eat in or take it out it’s a definite place to try.
I got the BLT with Avacado.❤️

We stopped here for lunch while visiting the nearby Hagley Museum. It is apparently one of several in the Wilmington area. It has a cute name and the sandwiches are named after dog breeds (no cats). There is ample seating inside and out; most of the patio is in full sun. I had the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato bisque; my wife had the “Cocker Spaniel” vegetarian sandwich. The food came out very quickly and tasted as we expected.

Good food and service. The Aztec burrito is very flavourful. This is good stop over when driving from DC to NYC. A 10 minute drive from I-95.

After planning our trip to Winterthur this past weekend I started looking for places in the area to have lunch and discovered Pure Bread Deli right down the road. Hubby and I have a golden retriever that is the center of our universe so finding a place that is not only pet friendly but whose entire menu is named for dogs was super exciting. We got to the restaurant a little before 1 and it was still pretty busy but we managed to score a booth inside and placed our order. The way this place works is you place your order at the counter, they give you a table flag and bring your food out once it is ready while you relax and enjoy the dog videos and guest pet photos on the 2 televisions in the dining area (if you’re a dog owner be sure to go to their website to upload your dog’s photo, I did just that as soon as we got home). They have so many great menu items to choose from but being a golden mom, I felt obligated to get the Golden Retriever Sandwich – turkey, provolone, sun dried tomatoes and basil pesto on grilled focaccia and it was delicious and since hubby and I always split everything we also ordered a Breeder’s Combo (choice of 2 menu items) and got the Santa Fe Chicken Salad and Broccoli & Cheese Soup and to satisfy our sweet tooth I got a Cranberry Orange Muffin with Walnuts – grilled – which I highly recommend (we were recently introduced to the joy of grilled muffins on a recent trip to Maine and I was beyond thrilled to see them offered here). Our entire meal, from start to finish, far exceeded my expectations and I only wish there was a location closer to our home in the Baltimore area. The staff here go above and beyond to ensure that you leave happy and satisfied, the place feels more like a full service restaurant than those that actually are that’s for sure. They had some complimentary super cute car magnets throughout the dining area so I definitely scooped up on those. Hubby can’t stop talking about the place so looks like we’ll be making regular visits to DE from now on.

Okay I was not expecting the quality of food and atmosphere when I came here. I was like “pure-bread” haha like “pure-bred, bred purely.” And “eh a little sandwich shop why not”
When I saw the dog stuff, I still thought nothing of the name. Until finally I went to order and saw the sandwich names were dog names. Then looking around everything started to click!
Lol this shop was so cute. I loved the dog theme. The atmosphere was nice.
My food was so good.
Kinda like panera except much better. I wish I took pictures of my sandwich.
Would 100% come here again if im ever near it.

Great soup/sandwich combo. Sandwich was amazing! The soup was good too; it reminded me of the soup restaurant I used to work at. We did not have to wait very long for our food, staff was nice. Dining area/bathroom were both clean. Was just passing by today but would definitely return if I lived closer.

Met some buddies for lunch earlier this week. I had the “reuben”. While it was grilled, as it should be, there was no saurkraut but cole slaw instead and barely any dressing. And for $15 for a sandwich, chips, and a pickle (which I didn’t receive), the sandwich was pretty thin….no wonder I rarely go here. Every time I do I’m disappointed.
Ugh.

If you think this place is pet friendly because they support animal shelters and stuff but I went with my dachshund who is a support animal certified by my doctor, but not an animal service and I sat outside. Ok, that is fine, but at least don’t need to be so rude and not even offering a bowl of water for my pet. If you support animals at least be more kind and offer some comfort otherwise is pure marketing. Food quality is amazing but not a place to come with a pet. Just keep that in mind when you are looking for pet friendly places in Delaware. I came here because on google maps when you google “pet friendly restaurants near me”, this place shows up. When you check their menu, it will make you think they are but they are not. Not coming back because I didn’t feel welcome at all not even by sitting outside with a pet.
