We’ve been going to Pure for about 5 years. Never had an issue until recently. The service (by Jamie) and food prep was different than what we had experienced previously. Seems like a good opportunity to try other establishments. We do have a back up restaurant that we’ll start going to again. Maybe someone has another recommendation? Thanks and Happy Holidays!

Service was poor. We were sat outside because they said they could not seat a party of six inside. It was not that crowded and I saw several tables that could hve been put together to seat us inside. It was windy, raining, and cold. We asked our server to turn the heater on. She said she would ask. After about 15 minutes, we asked other staff if they could turn it on. Our server disappeared after delivering our hordeovers. After about 30 minutes, we asked other staff to find our server to order our main course. Food was delivered by staff who were not sure what they were delivering. Additiomally, we ordered two chicken sliders for the kids and only one was delivered. It was not that crowded and there seemed to be adequate staff. I’m not sure why the service was slow and staff seemed to lack any kind of customer service.

Best sushi I have had in years! Great staff, fast service and OMG the food was breath taking! We had a business meeting in their new expansion area with Beth at RET and had a great time. They kept up with our large group – no problem. Staff was super helpful and friendly with people who didn’t like sushi giving great options. I’m telling you, we are going to make this a regular place for meetings. It’s not far off the freeway, so everyone can get there and avoid traffic. We all love the new area for large groups in the back. Thanks everyone, you guys make ART and we will be back.

Love this place. The best happy hour out there. Some of the best food I have had. Crab wontons are in the top 5 (and I make them from scratch myself), calamari is light and full of flavor. Sushi is fresh and amazing. The ORG Palette was our first disappointment (pricey and not a lot of flavor). Great for dates, parties or any time. Years later and still the best. Drive 2 hrs and worth it!!!

A nice atmosphere, wide selection of sushi and rolls. Hard to tell if some were made ahead of time because they came out pretty quickly. Service was good. A bit on the pricey side but reasonable.

this food is so hilariously bad. some of the lowest quality sushi and teriyaki i have ever seen. the quality of fish used is gas station sushi quality. the steak portion is so small it should be considered a side dish. The steak they are using has to be below choice grade which is wild. Everything i have ordered here was so mediocre it should be illegal. Im shocked a place like this could exist in north Scottsdale. The hostess are rude and unhelpful and the food takes forever to come out when the restaurant is half full. This is not a one time occurrence. It has happened every time i come here. Why would anyone go here when you could just go to yogis or swan sushi. the other Asian restaurant across the street is better. this restaurant is a waste of commercial space.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Went there with 3 other people who are all sushi fans, and we all thought the food was great. Highly recommend!

The sushi was very good as was the service. The ambience inside is much better than outside. The booths outside are not comfortable at all. Sit at a table instead. The cocktails were good. The sushi was displayed in a nice manner and was fresh.
