Jim and Team at Pure Smoke BBQ helped us celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday! Everything we ordered was delicious and cooked to perfection. I particularly like the Texas style that lets the meat and smoke speak for it self and doesn’t hide behind heaping handfuls of rubs and seasonings. Just salt, pepper, and smoke. Jim’s BBQ sauces are the perfect pairings for anything of the offerings on the menu.

Chili was significantly spicy, I grew up eating Mexican, Thai, and Bolivian food however these seemed to be spicy just because. I could not taste anything else.

Ok so I’m the pickiest person on earth. Hubby and I have never enjoyed BBQ on any real basis. We will eat if stuck at a wedding or a bbq but to go buy it and eat….well maybe if starving or a trusted foodie recommends a place. So We stopped in here a few months ago and have ordered and returned so many times. First the folks who work here are wonderful. Their BBQ can’t be beat. Brisket and Mac n cheese yes please. My favorite . Hubbys favorite is brisket and pork belly and his side is always the collard greens .Save yourself the agony of choosing . They have a two meats and two sides. Perfect for you alone with possibility of left overs as a large dinner. Hubby and I will split it for a lunch. And their only on Sunday morning breakfast burrito is outstanding. Like drive 50 miles for the darn thing outstanding. You can order on line. They currently are open Friday Saturday and Sunday one can only wish they open 7 days a week.

Don’t miss out on this place. Brisket was juicy, tender and flavorful. Cannot believe there are others saying it was dry. Best brisket, or meat in general that I’ve ever had anywhere. Mac and cheese was divine, with a smoky flavor. It was all well worth the price for what you’re getting. Good cow. The owner was very kind, even though we came right before closing. I would add a photo, but we scarfed it all down too quickly. Check their Instagram for their hours and schedule.

It’s more of a take home than it is a stay and eat place but this is going to depend on who you’re eating with. Better quality than Kelly’s in Mount Vernon, but Moose Creek in Arlington is one notch up. They are all on par as far as pricing goes. I only tried the brisket, ribs and corn bread all are fantastic. The corn bread was soft and somewhat moist. Portions are slightly bigger than Moose Creek. In particular the ribs.

One of the best BBQ place in Snohomish. I had the brisket and it was the best I ever had. They give you almost more then you can eat. Back from Texas and looking for a good barbecue place I decided to stop on and and try their brisket sandwich. If you’re in Stanwood and looking For good barbecue or just hungry I highly recommend stopping on in. I will definitely be coming back
