I’ve heard of this place and when in the area recently, I bought many Pastys to bring home and enjoy later on. The place is really just carry-out, they have fresh made, hot pastys to go, which they can sell, as well as frozen pastys to bring home. They also have a large selection of snacks directly from England.

Service was helpful, the guy working the counter was descriptive and helped me with how the various pastys were made. Also, when walking in the amazing smells of all the workers in the back making food smelled incredible! I opted for some of nearly all their offerings of pastys.

A couple of days later I made the chicken masala for lunch. I used their directions for baking, not the microwaving to get it ready to eat. They were spot on and the pasty came our perfectly warmed up and ready to eat. The crust was outstanding! None of it was dry or tastless, the whole thing was flaky, perfect, buttery, and tasty! The filling was very nice, though it had no flavors that resembled Indian or “masala” to me, so I’m not sure what they consider masala, but that’s not a bad thing as the filling tasted great!

I’m looking forward to making and eating all the rest, I’m sure they’ll be great too!

At $10 per pastry I was expecting good things. Picked out a sausage roll and a cordon bleu pastry and both were terrible. Sausage roll appeared like it had been sitting out overnight and tasted like a plain hot dog rolled in flaky dough. Cordon bleu pastry was even worse and after eating half I ended up throwing it out.

I’m thankful there’s a spot close by I can grab snacks from my family’s childhood. A lot of snacks I kind of recognized, but once I showed pictures to my family, their nostalgia has me on a mission to come by here first before I visit them.

This is a quaint spot I never expected to stumble upon.

The pasties are SO good! I’ve been come here for years. The frozen ones reheat beautifully at home following the package directions, too. They also have a really fun selection of UK foodstuffs, mainly snacks, sweets, drinks, and canned goods. They also carry Mr Kipling packaged cakes (Battenburgs, cherry Bakewells, etc.) which are such a treat.

My group also tried Pure Pasty-baked cherry Bakewell, which I hadn’t had from them before and it was great!

Parking is usually no problem.

What did ya think i was gonna put me phone down while stuffing me face with that pasty!!!!
Bloody amazing, better than a greggs back in England and quite the selection of British goods there like Fanta and sticky toffee pudding to skips and eccles cakes, so glad the wife brought me here even though it s over 50 mile away will most definitely be coming again. And very reasonably priced compared to other places.

A day after Christmas surprise. We loved the pastries we got, so flaky and rich in flavor. My favorite is the Chicken Masala. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We got all the flavors to try and everything was tasty. A must try!

It was delightful to see treats from my childhood in a local shop. The pasties I got were incredibly delicious. They are also quite large and filling. The service was not even a little friendly but it is what it is. Service was quick. Pasties held up well for a few days in the fridge and heated up nicely. Lots of free parking options.

I absolutely LOVE Purse Pasty in Vienna, Virginia.
They sell the most authentic British pasties.
My favorite is the vegan cheese and onion. Please don’t get scared about it being vegan because it is still delicious and melts just like real cheese. It is literally like eating a cheese and onion soup that is wrapped in fresh dough.
They usually have it frozen, but it only takes about 10 minutes for them to heat it up.
I love grabbing one of them in between teaching my piano lessons in my students’ homes in the area.
I am glad that they have many vegan options like the vegan cheese and onion, vegan samosa, vegan chicken BBQ, vegan taco, and so many more. They also have traditional meat versions as well.
Everyone should try to visit them. It will be like taking a trip to a local shop in London.

Finally went here after hearing about it for years. They changed locations since the last time I looked for it. Tried the beef wellington and steak and sausage roll. Liked the steak the best and will try others. Nice meal deal with a drink and potato chips. Will be back! Parking lot is across the street. We accidentally parked in a vacant lot farther away

We did a nice Saturday bike ride out to Pure Pasty and the food and service was lovely. My only commentary is that I love the benches outside but could really use some sort of shade umbrellas for those that want to eat there food there.
