The more I eat at friendly and authentic restaurants like this Salvadoran one with homemade-tasting recipes with complex flavors, I cannot imagine returning to the typical Mexican restaurant with chips and salsa on the table. I recommend the steak fajita, pupusa, and tacos. I cannot wait to return.

I’m not sure why there’s so many negative reviews but I loveeeee Mexican and Salvadoran food. I’m a connoisseur at this point especially of Mexican. Anyway, I’m not from the area but I ordered take out and tried three different things and they were all so good and fresh! My birria taco was missing the consome but I would definitely come back if I lived in the area. The tres leches cake has a hefty price tag of $8 which is the most I’ve ever spent on this kind of cake but definitely was worth it since it was a big piece.

Was recommended this place by a fellow co worker. Will definitely be coming here as regulars. The pupusas were so fresh and good. Probably the best I’ve had in the east coast.
Tacos came out fast and they were just right. Tres leches cake to finish off a great meal. And don’t forget the plantains with cream.

First time getting food from here. Got Pupusas, Tacos, a 3 leches cake, and a ensalada juice. My pupusas order; they got it all messed up but the pupusas still tasted good. My ensalda juice was moldy and tasted awful, and they charged me $3 extra for the juice. Despite all this, I decided to give them another try, and got tacos de carne, de pollo, y de birria. They tasted very good and my order correct this time. Food is very pricey!

This little Pupuseria is located in an old Jimmy John’s, and the latter’s commercial design and layout remain. Bringing a professional aesthetic to this mom and pop pupuseria. While the formers’ vibrant culture decorates the walls.
Delving into the meal itself, we ordered nachos con carne and a palethara of pupusas. The nachos were served with a couple of side sauces, much to my delight. The green mild and the red spicy. The jalapeños on the nachos came in slices rather than being properly diced to spread out the spice. In my opinion, they were still delicious despite this despite this slight culinary misstep.
The real star, however, was the actual pupusas . Which were all priced very affordable. $2.75- $6 a piece. The jalapeños were properly shredded in those.

13MAY2025 This is the old Jimmy John’s spot. Glad that is gone and happy that this mom and pop Pupuseria restaurant is here. The customer service is off the charts. You have to stop in here. Heard so much about this place. Recommend to me to check it out. So glad they moved Jimmy John’s out of the way. I’ll be visiting here this week. I’ve had Pupusa’s in Costa Rica
This place is so clean, spacious, and smells so delicious. You have to stop in. The Tres Leches is so moist delicious and delectable to your pallet. The customer service and food is off the charts.

Tacos de birria were amazing as always. Pupusas are on point. My favorite is probably the spinach and cheese. Delicious every time.

Favorite was the chicharron y queso pupusa. Birria with consumé taco had the beautiful crispy cheese on the edges and the carne asada taco was flavorful and hefty. Will definitely go back and next time want to check out the fresh drinks and desserts
