This is a very good restaurant! The food tasted like it was good quality and the service was great. The only thing I would say is I feel the prices are too high. I paid $32 for a grilled chicken plate with fried yucca and casamiento (rice and black beans mixed). I do feel the food tastes so good, that it is definitely worth it!

This place is by far one of the best, I traveled from Brentwood to Tracy to try their food again and they never disappoint, the attention of their staff, the music, the cleanliness throughout, and above all the food is very good, reasonable prices and an extensive menu, including several options for children, my children and I loved it!
Anthony attention is unmatched.

Food and service was really good! I saw the previous reviews about bad service but had no. issue at all. The lunch special was such a great deal for only $14.99. I got 2 pupusas (chicharrones & revueltos con frijoles) and side tropical salad combo. The portions are huge! I also tried the fried yucca and chicharrones, which was really tasty. The pork was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. The refried beans were delicious too.

Next time I will try the seafood soup!

I’ve have TWICE the same experience: Bad service for pricey more or less food. People have bad mood in the mornings? I like to do good reviews, so people on both ends can benefit. Usually i pass on bad service, but this time it’s a no. They need to know service is the essential part of success.

We were fortunate enough to be able to dine-in during the pandemic, right before another lockdown in Tracy, California. The food was phenomenal.

All of the flavors, presentation, and variety… reminded me of my favorite Caribbean dishes. We had the chicken/cheese/veggie pastelitos, cheese & Loroco papusas, chicken tamales, black beans, rice, tropical salad, and avocado salad. This is truly a hidden gem!

What food comes to mind when you hear Salvadorian food? For me, it’s papusa! I h’ve spent a total of two days in El Salvador, and I loved it. One of the most fun experience I had was making papusa in a papusaria near the airport.

How does the food here compare? With my limited knowledge of Salvadorian food, I think this place is pretty legit (apparently so do many others). We ordered:

!Hot Corn Drink! – this was my favorite part of meal. It was an extremely hot corn drink, almost like a sweet corn chowder. It was hard to drink because it was so hot and creamy, but I thoroughly enjoyed every sip/bite of it.

*Papusa Combo with Fried (or Steamed) Yucca, Beans and Sour Cream – 2 papusa of your choice (I got fried pork and chicken with vegetables, I prefer the former); I didn’t really care much for the beans or the sour cream (more runny and less flavorful than normal sour cream)

*Meatballs with Fried Plantains, Salad, and Tortillas – meatball was pretty soft, and had a strong mint flavor to it. I didn’t fancy it, but my boyfriend enjoyed it (he likes soft food and meatballs). The tortillas looked and tasted just like the papusa, minus the fillings.

We also got an appetizer of fried potato balls with chicken and corn. It was good with the hot sauce.

Overall, I had a good experience here. Service was good, and food was delicious. I can’t wait to come back to try some soups and get that corn drink again!
