Mr.Chimetime a NC Foodie on Instagram recommended this location. My husband and I drove 1 hour and 10 mins to get here and it was worth the trip. I can’t wait to go back. My husband and I got the pupusa and sopes to go. I tried the green one. I tell my husband all the time that all food ain’t to go food, but this food here was to go food. Thank you so much for the great food experience and we will be returning. Thank you too Mr. Chimetime for the referral, because it was all that you said it was. The young lady that works here is a one woman show and she got this.

Saw a video posted on FB from Mr.Chimetime so had to try them since they were located in my hometown. I bought the green pupusa for myself and the red for my daughter. They had carne asada, beans, and cheese in them. They were exactly as he said and soooooo soooo good and also very filling. Pupusas came with sour cream, 2 salsas (mild and hot), and some Salvadorean cabbage. If you’re ever in the Waco area, I recommend you try these

Got the $15 super pupusa, and boy did it not disappoint!!! It was delicious, had excellent flavor, and it wes big!! Filled up a standard plate to-go box. If you need bigger than that, they got what you need!! Hole in the wall with excellent flavors. You may have to wait a little bit because there is only 1 person working, but I promise it will be worth it!! I saw them on Facebook months back, and just happened to remember before I left Waco to return to Houston…

Deeeeelicious hot fresh pupusas made to order! Mama in the back making it from scratch. Its mainly a carryout place but they do have a few tables. We got the super pupusa that was as big as a tray and took it to the waterfront park to eat there. Definitely recommend!

I could not taste the flavorings. I ordered a super one with Beef and Chicken, another with Pork, and another with Shrimp. I could taste no seasoning, not too much meat, and no flavor at all. It is basically like eating dough with some small amount of meat thrown in. You need to have a taste for something like this, and if you are not from El Salvador, you are probably not used to food tasting this bland and not filled. For the price she should have put in more meat and made the bite worth the purchase. Instead it was not, and was a disappointment. The owner was much nicer than the food.

We ran into a video from Mr.chimetime and decided to drive an hour just to try these pupusas! He wasn’t lying they hit the spot & were worth the drive. There is so many options to choose from & even giant and colorful ones. This is different and we’re here for it! Ms.Deisy the owner is also the sweetest soul & you can tell she loves what she does. ♥️

Wow, is this a little gem of a place. It’s SOO GOOD, GUYS. She’s really kind and friendly and so cheerfully, always smiling and trying to make small talk, and the taste is DELICIOUS ♡ we got the pupusa super loca and it was enough for me and my huge appetite brother with a little left over 10/10 recommend
