Phenomenal pupusas. All food was made to order from scratch, so it takes time. But everything was super delicious, and a great value. Note: prep your Spanish! The staff doesn’t speak English, so show respect and ask for a menu.

pupuseria mari has amazing pupusas and tortas—flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. However, the curtido portions are limited, whereas most restaurants offer it unlimited. A bit more curtido would make the experience even better. Still, the food is good.

I would say this is a true Mexican restaurant. If you are thinking taco bell is Mexican this place may not be for you.. I had a burrito and a gordita. Both were good. Service was good and the place was clean.. and my coke was in a glass bottle!!!!!! The only thing I didn’t care for was that our food was brought to us on paper plates,but hey we use them at home so I’m ok with it!

This place is awesome authentic food really good flavors friendly staff quick service. The steak dinner and pupusa’s and fried plantains were amazing. They have dividers between the booths for dine in dining as well as hand sanitizer available. I wish there was a location on the Westside of Cincinnati or Clifton would be great. This place is worth the drive to take the whole family for lunch or dinner.

Nice little authentic place. People were very friendly and food was really good. Also very clean. I tried the chicken pupusa and steak gordita bit were very good. The gordita was excellent. Sauces were ok. I will go back for sure.

Coming from LA and missing a good home cooked meal this place will definitely hit the spot. I ordered the carne asada plate that was very delicious! It came with rice beans and salad and 3 home made tortillas. My niece ordered the pupusas with pork and cheese and beans and cheese they satisfy the craving if you know and love pupusas.

This has been a great found. The food is great! Even the fresh flavored waters were great, the ladies cooking in there are super sweet and you feel like you are at home in Mexico being served by your mom. Try it and don’t let the outside make you think is bad or something, get inside and ask for some pupusas 🙂
