This place is great. Best soup I’ve ever had. Little pricey but well worth it. Will definitely be back

First visit. Great customer service. Try the Jamaica drink. It has a great taste to go along with the food. I ordered the quesadillas and my wife ordered the Carne Molida. Food was freshly prepared and delivered to the table piping hot. Everything was delicious. This location is highly recommended. Give it a try if you are in the area. It is definitely a hidden gem!

Had a great experience, food was delicious and proprietor was very friendly, attentive and informative. As far as price, it was reasonable considering good cooked to order food.

Definitely overcharged and refused to give an itemized receipt upon request. Broke down prices which was like a $8 difference in what we were charged and what he stated in price. will definitely not be returning !

My review is mixed. I’ve been recommended this restaurant by multiple people. Finally gave it a try.
There was plenty of room to dine in at lunch on Friday. We looked at the menu board on the wall and ordered. There were no prices listed on any of the items, but we ordered three entrees (tacos pictured was one of the selections) and an order of papusas. Three drinks, one of which was water. I tried to pay when we ordered, but was told we would pay later.
The food was delicious. We all enjoyed our meal and I was glad we had decided to give it a try.
We never received a ticket, so I eventually walked up to the counter to pay, and it totaled $70 pre-tip. I made my confusion clear, but with the language barrier between myself and the parson at the cash register I couldn’t get clarification and accepted it. The receipt I received only had the total, not the breakdown of each item. Did I just pay $20 for street tacos and water?
There are Hispanic restaurants all over Carroll County, some of which are really fantastic. A comparable meal at most places would end up in the $40-50 range, so suffice to say I was more than a little surprised at the cost. We were looking to spend $10-15 each, and if we’d been allowed to pay up front I could have apologized and come back another time when funds weren’t as tight.
So while the food was five stars, the restaurant needs to display their prices and provide an itemized receipt, so I cannot give it a five star rating.

The BEST pupusas I’ve had in while. They have lots of options for food and sauces. THEY are all DELICIOUS. Sopa de mariscos and pupusas is very fulfilling and tasty. One of the best hidden gems in Carrollton!

Delicious food and outstanding customer service; the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is exceptional, to say the least. The environment is excellent, very clean, and a great place to enjoy with your family. Highly recommend it. The pupusas and tamal con Apollo is some of my favorite food from there, they know how the food needs to be done.

The food is good, very normal, but the prices are very high, taking into account that the menu does not show the prices and you never receive a receipt but you must pay at the counter, there you receive a total and they send you by phone a receipt with the same total without specifying each price and beyond that they charge for the transaction. I think they charge according to the face and the car you arrive in…… a place not to repeat.

I don’t care how good food is, 2 orders of 3 papusas and 2 drinks do not equal 32 dollars…this place is overly priced and ripping people off! Normally papusas are 2-3 bucks each and a fanta and jaritto are 2-3 bucks its funny how Latin cheap eats turns into a fancy steak dinner price…HUGE PRICE GAUGE
